For anyone who doesn't know: those paints are easily made by mixing acrylic paint with PVA glue. Including glitters or any other finish. Must be acrylic paint.

I certainly do remember that stuff back in the 70's to make flowers I used to make them all of the time and have been wondering just how I could re-create them. Thank you and will also try a sculpture! Thanks so much!

I've done this with elmers glue as well for the same result!

@crisalaurette We're not certain that wax paper will work for this process. If you use materials other than what are suggested, make sure to test them first!
@Blick_Art13 жыл бұрын
@puun14 It could possibly soften the paint and fall apart depending if you use a light source that emits too much heat. It is best to find a light source that stays cool - and then test!

Great video! Thanks! Quick question - is it possible to drill a small hole in the completed sculpture so that it can be suspended?
@ellicetaylor19806 жыл бұрын
It doesn't get hard and would be easy to put a small hole through. You also have the wire that you could tie a string to.

@Blick_Art10 жыл бұрын
michelle fletcher The Pebeo Arti’ Stick is really the best option as it is transparent, flexible and slightly sticky (it is designed to make window clings). You may be able to achieve similar results with acrylic paints but we would recommend adding Golden GAC 100 to help improve the acrylic color’s flexibility. You can find the GAC 100 here: @products/golden-gac-acrylic-polymer-mediums/. If you would like additional assistance, please feel welcome to contact our Product Information team at 1-800-933-2542.

Why couldn't you have been my art teacher in high school? My teacher only wanted us to work on this assignment called sketchbook that's it. Even in my sculpture class and ceramics class. I understand that sketching is important to both of those for planning but we never once was allowed to actually bring them to life. I never once touched clay at all in ceramics class.
@GuerinGrad099 жыл бұрын
That's horrible and doesn't teach you anything other than drawing! We used clay, different types of stone, glass, paint, ink, the pottery wheel, and about everything else. It's was awesome!
@jamie736510 жыл бұрын
Do you have to use that paint
@Blick_Art10 жыл бұрын
Hi Jamie! Yes, in order to achieve the results as viewed in the video, Pebeo Arti'stick is the only paint that we have used successfully. It has a high degree of elasticity, yet holds firmly to the wire outlines. If you would like additional assistance, please feel welcome to contact our Product Information team at 1-800-933-2542

My glass fell out the wires but was still in shape is that bad? @blick
@Blick_Art10 жыл бұрын
jane force Hi Jane! It’s not necessarily bad if you like it like that! If you prefer to try to repair the piece, you can use more of the Pebeo Arti-Stick Window Cling color to stick it back to the wire, but the process may be a challenge if the piece is not flat because the paints are slow to dry. If you would like additional assistance, please feel welcome to contact our Product Information team at 1-800-933-2542.

+pesto12601 I reckon you could experiment with using acrylic paint, or some mix of glue and colouring, to get kind of the same thing. There's one going around Pinterest with a much smaller wire flower and nail polish.
