Flexible Hot Water Webinar

On 12 December 2024 ARENA hosted an industry-focused webinar ‘Flexible Hot Water’.
This webinar showcased recent learnings from ARENA's domestic hot water trials.
These presentations, featuring DNSPs, retailers, and metering providers, unpacked the key insights gained from field trials involving thousands of households, and discussed opportunities to unlock the full potential of flexible hot water.

The webinar builds on ARENA's efforts to advance innovation within demand flexibility. The 2023 ‘Domestic Hot Water and Flexibility report’ by UTS-ISF identified that hot water has the potential to enable up to 24GW of flexible capacity, or 50GWh/day, by 2040.
