DYNAMIC TRUNK LIGHTBAR installed on 2015+ Mercedes W205 C-Class Sedan

In this video, I remove the oem stock chrome trunk trim on a 2016 Mercedes-Benz W205 C300 Sedan and replace it with a dynamic LED trunk light bar from DMP Car Design.
This mod should work on all 2015+ W205: C300, C43, and C63 sedans.

Good tip to prevent double sided tape from re-sticking during uninstall, squeeze a few puffs of baby powder in the crack between the tape and the car to cover the adhesive. Doing so will prevent it from reattaching itself to the surface you're taking it off of.

If you haven’t seen already, Singapore Mercedes Parts on Facebook is selling oem style smoked sequential rear signals (2020 style) for $800ish shipped to U.S. I bought them for mine and they look fantastic but unfortunately I need to send them back to have the proper U.S. plug installed so be sure to specify if you order. I was still able to see the light and it is top quality. Keep up the great work!👍🏻

I have a day job that pays me well and I do KZbin on the weekends. I make a KZbin video once and it lives on the internet forever and it keeps making me money while I sleep. If I don’t feel like making videos, I don’t need to and I’m still making money on previous videos. If I opened up a shop, I’m basically replacing 1 job with another job (a crappier one) that requires me to rent a place, pay for utilities, get certified and license, work for people, do installs all the time, be there all the time and spend a lot of energy. A shop sounds “cool” but it is a terrible idea for me and sooooo much riskier compared to what I’m doing now that has zero overhead and I have a lot more time to chill. And I probably make more than owning a shop. Owning a shop, you don’t make anything until you put in tons of manual work and a lot of hours. And after you pay all your bills...then whatever is left is your profit. You basically start in a hole every month. No thanks.

The reflection off the bottom/rear surface of the spoiler had me thinking that you had an illuminated spoiler. Maybe needs some flat black (non-reflective) vinyl on that bottom/rear surface. Cheers.

Contacted DMP Car Design and unfortunately they don't have dynamic trunk lightbar for E class W212. Only selected Mercedes C Class and E class W213 🙁. . Now that dynamic trunk lightbar is one mod I would have immediately gotten for my E Class W212. It a great added safety feature 👍 .
