Something that helps is industrial odor neutralizer, if you work fast food you can usually find them with the bathroom cleaning supplies. I've had stoners stink up the entire lobby at my work, I sprayed around the lobby and I promise, you had to be sitting with these kids to smell anything. Did he have a professional license and get disciplined by the licensure board? Did he end up losing his job because he was late to work because he was arrested? There are a lot of downsides to getting busted besides just the sentence that gets imposed.

Here is a scenario; You are driving on the highway and you have let's say an ounce of cannabis that is vacuum sealed or in a clean mason jar to avoid detection in your vehicle. Suddenly you get pulled over for a lane change violation or something stupid. The police officer approaches the car and asks if he / she can search your car and you of course inserted your rights, and he or she searches the car anyway and finds the cannabis. Now not only were you illegally searched but your ass is in jail. Meanwhile the police officer lies about the incident on their incident report they are required to file after each arrest and said they had probable cause because they could smell an odor of cannabis coming from the vehicle or on your person. I personally suggest recording your encounter on your cell phone without giving them any indication they are being recorded..such as lock your phone after your camera is running.. Because under this scenario you are going to lose. So either have witnesses or record the encounter on your phone or dash-cam if you have one. Cuz you are going to need a lot on your side to prove you are innocent./ rights was violated.

don't hide the fact that you are recording them. do it openly and point the camera at them and everything. If they ask why you are taping just politely tell them you document any encounter you have involving the police for legal reasons, or something like that. Most of the time a camera will scare them away from trying to pull anything on you unless of course their is an obvious reason that you are committing a crime, more then just looking like a suspicious stoner. They are less likely to go out on a limb to try and see if you may be hiding something. Say if it's marijuana you are hiding but their is no smell you just look stoned that isn't going to hold in court as probable cause for a search if you have that recorded. because they are going to say you look stoned on tape in that case then ask to search your vehicle. When you are recording and the officer asks you if they can search you or your vehicle, first before you say no, ask them why they want to search you. It makes you look much less suspicious of you and they will feel more like they might not find anything. If their is no smell they want say they think they smell something while you are recording them most likely. Also more then just don't be nervous, you need to seem really impatient with them like you have some place to be and they are holding you up. If they are holding you up ask if you can leave.

It's so ridiculous how seriously marijuana is taken in the US. In Canada it's not really taken so serious. Only if you have huge amounts of it and you are trying to sell it illegally, but most of the time when cops find it on you, if it's a big amount, like over a dime bag or a 30, then you will get arrested and even after that you might just get either a short jail time or community service. I've been caught by police once, but I wasn't arrested because I had a very small amount. All they did was throw it away and let me off with a warning. I can say I got lucky, but I think if I was in the US, I would be arrested and thrown in jail for 20 years over a roach.

I had just gotten off work, but I did have a pipe and a little bit of weed in there and I knew I was svrewed so I did tell him and give it over and completely cooperated and everything. did not think I was actually going to jail for that but I did. and then the whole ride to jail he kept saying I'm lucky because he could've charged me with a DUI simply because I couldn't pass a drug test for marijuana at the time because whether or not it was even more or anything it stays in your system for 30/days. A tip some of you may find useful if you're trying to hide something like pot.. Cops do like honest people. If I'm carrying something like a pocket knife, i'll usually just tell the cop I have a knife and won't make any sudden movements. Not only have you convinced the cop you are honest, you have also distracted them from the fact that you have pot. Another one I use is saying that my father used to be a police officer. Since they play mind games, I'm going to as well.

I was hacked by law enforcement. They're able to see what you're looking at on a computer, (I look up a bunch of weed stuff) searching up. my friend accidentally left her purse on a bench in downtown. It was retrieved by the and they called her explaining that they had possession of her purse, and that she can pick it up . There was a small amount of marijuana (less than a gram) in a clear, unmarked pill bottle inside the purse. If she goes to the station to retrieve her purse, will she be charged with possession of marijuana? The police obviously looked through the purse to find her ID and identify the owner of it. yes absolutely. I was an MP (against my will, I was involuntarily reclassed years ago). All you have to do is say absolutely nothing. They can't charge you with not talking. If they threaten "we'll tell the judge you weren't cooperating" don't worry. It will never get to court if you don't talk. Crazy story: Back when I didn't understand my Rights some cops knocked on my door. I answered and said they were investigating a gunshot and they were just looking for dead bodies. I was like 'lemme put something away' 'No! don't shut the door, we're just looking for a gun or someone that may be injured.' I shook the cops hand and let them in. They saw my small pile of weed and asked me if that was it. I said yes and they walked out.

The other consideration is sentencing. What do you want to get charged for, what you ACTUALLY did, or what you did and 10 other things that increased your fee or jail time by 10 years. If you are going to get in trouble make sure you are given your rights and proper repercussions. Especially if you didn't do anything wrong.

Having been a sober passenger in a vehicle operated by a person that was high (one joint at lunch time) makes it plain that the impaired driver has NO CLUE that they are impaired. If you think otherwise, YOU are impaired, perhaps permanently. Driving while impaired is a crime, it matters not whether from drink, dope, or being drowsy.
