I was at this show, 21 years ago. Dallas had the best live music scene anywhere in those days, and Flickerstick was one of the reasons for that.

Will always hold that this is still the best cover of this song ever. Made it something new but still captured the angst properly. I appreciate how the vocalist even slid the notes like Hope Sandoval does for that longing tone most people miss when they sing it too straight.

Came across this song on our Alexa yesterday listening with my 5 year old son. I was absolutely blown away. We both listened to it over and over. You guys seriously took this song to another level. Rarely am I impressed by covers, but this absolutely floored me. I even got my keyboard out and played along. I like the transposed key of E flat too. I sure hope Hope Sandoval has seen this. I think it would make her smile.
