Just to clarify, this pink Flicky is actually confirmed to be the same Flicky from Sonic Adventure, as Sonic Prime is considered canon according to Sega.

What a fascinating and compelling theory! Please forgive my lengthy comment, I just have many thoughts to share. First two quick fun facts: 1. Concept art for Sonic Adventure shows the development of Gamma's design and his earliest designs very strongly resemble Eggrobo, this, along with the fact that the Eggrobos have never (Chronologically) been seen post dreamcast era further cements the E-100 Series as being the next step forward from the Eggrobo line. 2. While Flicky's don't explicity appear in SatAM, the core group of Freedom Fighters were directly based on the Critters from Sonic 1 (Sally, Rotor & Bunny being the most obvious). There is so much unspoken subtex in Gamma's storyline and I cannot thank you enough for highlighting it. The way Eggman designs his Robots has to make you wonder how, with so much space taken up by armor, weaponry, sensors and of course a power source, how much space is actually available within them for a CPU. Consider this: Badnik's are sort of like Parasites, they're powerful machines with dangerous weapons but have incredibly limited memory space and need a "Host" inorder to perform more complicated command functions. When a Flicky is installed in a Badnik it becomes the Badnik's "host" and is put in a sort of Stasis, using it's life force to power the robot while also hijacking the Flicky's brain and using it as an extension of it's own limited CPU allowing it to execute more complex commands. Essentially allowing the Host to double as both a Battery and a CPU. A malfunction in the Badnik's programing, caused by a glitch in it's code or even by damage sustained in combat, could cause the Badnik in question to access unintended parts of the Host's mind, either inadvertently allowing the Host to gain partial control over the Robot's functions (As in the case of Gamma) or allow the Robot to overwrite parts of the Host's memory (As is the case in your theory with Clucky) I have absolutely NO grounds of evidence to back this theory up on, it is merely speculation, but still. XD (Also thank you very much for the shoutout to my Fang's Big Break Dub, it really means a lot! :'D)

Thank you very much again for providing that audio clip! I purposefully mentioned those flickies specifically as a reference to Sat-Am. Ya know I really like the way you put that, the Badnick using the flickies as a power source but intentionally using its brain as well to make up for lack of an internal CPU, certainly would make sense!

Hey Ben! Great Video, can you do a video on blaze and how she was in the future but she got a backstory in sonic rush in the sol dimension and it really doesn’t make sense and you’re really good at sorting out sonic lore so can you make a video about it?

Thanks! I will definitely be covering Blaze’s story as it is incredibly fascinating and definitely deserves to be explored

I hope to see more adventures with Amy and Birdie (Gamma). Maybe she'll be given a temporary growth transformation and let Amy ride on her back for flight.

It’s not impossible, I’m not even going to say that the current lore doesn’t support it but that would give away another idea I’m working on
