Sonic Theory: Is Sonic an Ultimate Life Form?

I think it’s possible that Sonic is a naturally occurring equivalent to the Ultimate Life Form. He has many of the same traits that Shadow has and can even use Chaos Control without having Black Doom’s DNA in him.

one of my favorites points of evidence that shadow was actually modeled after the mural of super sonic vs eggman is the fact that shadow's quills are shaped like super sonics and they even made it a point for sonic's quills to be shaped that way in SA2 to match shadow's

Shadow's memory is fake, Gerald made it based on his previous work "Sonic is the ultimate life form that he saw on the fresco in SnK 3", and the biolizard is perfect chaos. He was canceled for the biolizard and therefore he did not have time to find a cure for Maria, Maria saved the capsule with Sonic, who was inactive and died of illness. Having learned about this, Gerald in anger before the execution creates Shadow, fills him with distorted memories so that he destroys the world. This was the original plot, but Shadow became too popular and now everything listed above is not canon. full of evidence, Terios first design and really 1 in 1 Sonic only perverted by revenge. Rouge said that all of Shadow's memories can be fake, to which he in the original, in Japanese, replies: "even if they are fake, this is all I have" so Shadow continues, for him this is the meaning of life. In the battle with Final Hazard, Shadow dies because he cannot withstand the super form (Sonic constantly says "hey Shadow you look tired", you need to rest), since he is more unstable and made in a hurry, unlike Sonic. And Shadow says "Sonic, I realized that the real ultimate life form, it can be you." I like this plot more than Blackdoom and I would like Shadow's future motivation to be not Edgy, but the desire to find that very "Maria", which he never had, that is, to find the real meaning of his existence, and not just for the sake

I think it is pretty valuable theory By the way, I would like to add that Dark Gaia's (as well as Light Gaia's) power is energy of the planet Earth itself. On the other hand, Chaos emeralds after use scatter all over the planet to recover their power. That could mean that Chaos energy in some way related to planet energy (or even is the same kind of energy), so it's no wonder that Sonic could control himself under Dark Gaia influence (just because he already has faced with this energy) ... or he just has a pure heart and strong will, idk

If havent read "sonic adventure 2 perfect strategy guide the truth about 50 years ago" there is a report written by a GUN agent saying that the escape pod maria sent to earth whereabouts are unknown hinting the shadow we know in sa2 that eggman freed from a gun military base isn't the one who escaped the ark during the gun raid. While this doesn't confirm soinc is the ultimate life form i believe the writer of sa2 deliberately left it ambiguous

Shadows whole schtick is relying off of chaos energy, Sonic doesn’t. He avoids using chaos powers like shadow because he enjoys relying on his own abilities. He doesn’t want to rely on other things if he doesn’t have to.

With all the years that I've studied, I'm inclined to believe that Sonic's original name _was_ Shadow the Hedgehog, the nearly completed reverse engineering of "The Ultimate Life" based off Chaos, and the original Shadow that _had_ actual memories of that Ark and befriending Maria. Maria was the one to give "Sonic" Shadow purpose on who he is and to give people a chance to be happy before launching to earth (Which is why he currently doesn't need a reason to feel the way he does as "It doesn't matter", he will act purely on instinct with his best intentions always). This would mean that Sonic isn't a teenager, but is actually an immortal that has been created and alive for over 60+ years, having 2 brothers (Biolizard, GUN Shadow), a mother (Chaos) and father (Pr. Gerald). GUN Shadow is a repurposing of Project Shadow's overall goal, but heavily shares the base model and data of "Sonic" Shadow, and GUN Shadow's "memories" being false tampered retellings of "Sonic" Shadow's memories (Very likely stolen and at the very least to be confirmed manipulated by Gerald) while "Sonic" Shadow suffered amnesia as a result (because evidently Sonic doesn't recall any of this despite constantly subconsciously calling back to the Ark). This would mean that GUN Shadow never actually met Maria. He still carries on his resolve as if he did have a figure that actually cared for him and ultimately makes his own decision based on what he truly instinctually feels is the right thing to do. In a way, that very much mirrors Sonic's motive. SA2's story is fucking crazy and I didn't even get into the nitty gritty of things lol

You made me realize that even with Shadow needing a Chaos Emerald to teleport around with Chaos Control, the fact that Sonic did it only seeing how it worked once, used it almost perfectly with a less powerful fake chaos emerald that Tails had made, all in a matter of what was like a few seconds to a split of a second as the capsule that he was in was goin to explode, so the fact that he did that quickly, that well precise and in a dire situation made me feel like he always had this natural attunement to Chaos Energy itself, while yes, he didn't pop right back to where he wanted to be, he did end up back on ARK.

I think Sonic and Shadow were meant to be twins. But Sega didn't want to linger on this, because things would have gotten too difficult. It is shown anyway in Shadow's personality, back then it was reminescent of Sonic's personality, mixed with traits who were the opposite of Sonic's. Also by the end of SA2 Sonic was the most shaken by Shadow's apparent death, at the point to cry.

A good chance is that the capsule landed on Christmas Island where Sonic supposedly was born. Shadow was created on Prison Island as a weapon for G.U.N and obviously, a tool for Gerald's revenge. Sonic obviously doesn't remember the events of the Space Colony Arc because of how traumatic it was. His memories though did slip when he quoted Maria after Shadow "died" at the end of the game. Honestly, when you compare Maria and Sonic's personalities, they align perfectly and her final words reflect Sonic's character in a nutshell. There's also Sonic using Chaos Control in his bossfight in Dark Story and him using it in the capsule that Eggman trapped him in. it's odd how it was just forgotten about in future games. It's a huge shame how SA's story got butchered in future releases. It was obviously meant to be ambiguous on whether Shadow or Sonic was the real Ultimate life form and wanted us the player, to figure it out.

Yes Sonic is just teleporting, but let’s add the context you just so happened to remove. Sonic is copying a chaos ability after seeing it preformed once with a fake, less powerful emerald. That’s what makes it “More impressive than Shadow”. Especially since Shadow was made specifically to control chaos power, where Sonic was born normally.

He's more attuned to their energy and even moreso with SA1's events, using specifically the positive energy and what chaos didn't use. It's like if someone were to only use an object a certain way, but enough that they know how the object works. They just never did anything else with it.
