In interviews for the first film, they talked about how when casting these people to be perfect for the roles you tend to find people that already carry some of the essence of that character with them. I've read the books many times and am a big fan. Obviously you can't judge Josh's performance from the book since you haven't actually seen him perform the scenes. Though from what we could see in this trailer and from the way he acted out the strangling scene in Mockingjay: Part 1, I'd say Josh will do a brilliant job. Can't wait to see his performance.

That is why I believe he deserves an Oscar by now. I am looking forward to his performance for this one too. In fact, not only is Josh's performance perfect from the two previous films and this trailer, but the entire cast was very impressive with each of their scenes as well. I was looking forward to seeing how some events in the books were done for the film and I was very impressed. I am as excited for this film and Josh's performance as much as you are.

what Jen said at the end about how she was initially annoyed by Katniss's reluctance to fight/start the revolution is exactly how i felt at one point too (mostly when reading mockingjay). Bruh the books from peetas perspective would be pretty dope actually. How the careers find him and how he convinced them to let him in their alliance. His fight with them when Cato attacks him. In catching fire how he kills the first guy in the bloodbath, and he kills Brutus after him and Katniss get separated. And then him being tortured in the capital
