I feel like Ella's gonna be both the most heartwarming and hilarious reveal of the cast. Imagine, all of her faith being confirmed, Her close friend now 'promoted' as the head of the 'family business,' all the mental flips she's gonna have to do before internalizing this (especially that she's the only truly religious one out of the bunch), plus probably Azrael finally getting to confirm her identity, it would really be very fulfilling, and hilarious seeing her whole world turn upside down tenfold. I like that Hell is just a repetition of all the decisions and actions that a person feels guilty about. I hope they make Dan confront his guilt like the other guy did so that he can get into Heaven. I gave myself a headache crying when Dan died. It felt like I was reliving his death in True Blood (he was stabbed there but still). Dan tried so hard to do right by people and to be a good person that I believe that he deserves to be in Heaven and be happy. But now that it was Rob Benedict, who played Chuck/God in Supernatural, who killed Dan, I just keep making Supernatural/Lucifer parallels in my head

Also, Lucifer's wings are white, which has always made me feel that they represent his true angelic nature, despite his 'resting devil face', which is part of his self actualization of how he sees himself, in one episode, remember, forget which one, he can't access his devil face, which is a problem, when he's trying to convince Chloe that he really is the devil. while michael's wings are black, which pretty much seems symbolic of his true, very un-angelic nature.

Maybe I fall into the category of total lucifan, because all the things you mentioned, yes, I noticed them and I remember perfectly in which episode they were seen previously. I think Dan's biggest regret was putting Trixie in danger in S4, when he told Tiernan that Lucifer had broke his son's back, and Tiernan sent his goons to Lucifer's penthouse. Let's remember that Dan was a total jerk in that episode.

Dans unmanaged guilt probably comes from the case where he tried to blame Lucy in s4. He broke the shipping firm mans sons back, and Dan told that to the father, who ordered some guy to kill Lucy. This almost caused Trixies and Lucys death. I think Dans hell loop is probably comes from this and involves Lucys and Trixies death, an episode 6 titled "the murder of Lucifer Morningstar" can be the episode that involves the solving of this case and Dans redemption from hell.

i commented this on another video but here’s what i might have Amenadiel went to Heaven and saw that he isn’t there, which means that he’s in hell...unless he isn’t in hell which means that he could be in purgatory. We know that purgatory exists because when the characters from the arrow verse went to save oliver, lucifer gave them a card to go into purgatory. So maybe it’s possible that he’s in purgatory.

Season 5 was pure genius. I know there were some who hated the more "sensitive" parts and trashed the show on other sites, but what else was Luci going to therapy for all these years? This was the culmination of all those sessions with Linda, his growing love for Chloe and his friends, and his new found understanding of his own motivations. However, I do think Chloe became almost a non-character by the last few episodes, a doormat. I really wanted her to have a more logical angst about being the "girlfriend of God" and so many things were glossed over or ignored by the writers in regards to her character. The Dan episode was beyond amazing--I'm not a crier and I cried for Dan when he died. I hope season 6 sees Chloe get back to her old self and not just an attachment to Lucifer, and I'll be glued to my TV Waiting for it lol

I think Dans hell loop could be when he shot lucifer. Dan knowing lucifer is a good guy still shot him point blank and helped Michael try take him down, deep down he felt he was doing the wrong thing but still went against his gut because of all the things he knows about the devil.

You know what i realized would be or could be a good season 6 finale ending or one of the options.. where after learning that his advice got Mr. Said out bitch out of hell and into heaven lucifer would realize the true intentions of his father for putting as the warden of hell. and that is not to torture the humans but to help the good people people like Dan who because of some deep rooted guilt are stuck in hell loop(Which they should not be in) and encourage them and give them the guidance to free themselves of their suffering. And lucifer will finally realize his role that is the 'light bringer' in the life of those who are stuck in the darkness of hell.. IDK just sayin.

If the writers killed him off just because they wanted Lucifer to replace him and be a father figure for Trixie so that deckerstar shippers are satisfied with this ridicolous idea I don't know what I'm doing. I was ok with him dying, I mean, it literally destroyed me, but it was a very beautiful, overwhelming episode and as much as I want him back, I still like how heartbreaking it was. But I'd hate if somehow I found out the reason of killing him off was related to Lucifer and deckerstar. I've already even read on Twitter things like "oh so now that Dan died Lucifer can be Trixie's dad" or "imagine if it was Lucifer dying in Chloe's arms, how heartbreaking would it be?" They literally have to make everything about Deckerstar, even when the show portrays every character in very different, complex and interesting ways. I even know about people complaining about this season because of the lack of intimacy between Lucifer and Chloe...like, really? Imagine watching a show with a bunch of complex characters and only focusing on soft porn scenes between your favorite ones: literally missing the point. Ah, just so you know: Lucifer will never replace Dan. Of course Trixie cares about him, but not in the same way he cares about her OWN father. The trauma of losing her father and the void that left won't be forgotten/fulfilled because of/by Lucifer. Die mad about it :)

I'm with you about the Deckerstar stuff. In fact, it would have been fine with me if they had left it out entirely. However I've made a kind peace with it being there, realizing that to get the ratings it needs to stay on the air, a show must appeal to a wide variety of tastes. But the idea that the other characters, including Dan, should be diminished or negated so that Deckerstar might flourish is a bridge to far, IMO.

When Dan and Lucifer are in the penthouse near the end, just before everyone gets shot Dan asks Lucifer "how do I look?" and Lucifer says "Pretty good, actually" the exact same lines are said in S1 ep St Lucifer, just after Luci has been shot by the killer but Luci asks"how do I look? and Dan replies "Pretty good actually" . Also Lucifer takes a selfie at the after prank party and say's to Dan that he's going to frame it, then in ep 15 when Lucifer is trying to convince his brother Zadkiel to support him to be God, you see the selfie of Lucifer and Dan on the desk behind Lucifer.

My theory about where Dan is is that he might be in Lucifer’s mom’s universe. It was clear in earlier seasons that Daniel is Goddess’s favourite human and there obviously was a connection between them. Also, as we know from “Family dinner” episode, you can’t claim something unless it’s straightly said that it is so (referring to the moment when Lucifer asked God whether he loves his family or not and God didn’t say that he does but he also didn’t say that he does not, and in the end it turned out that he actually does). What I am trying to say is that Amenadiel flew to heaven and Dan wasn’t there, however no one checked whether he is in hell or not. So he may not be there too!

I haven't seen the video so they may say this but my guess is that since Lucifer learnt that you can get up to heaven from hell he'll completely rework the system so people can evolve past their guilt and get up to heaven. Much like in the good place

Do you all remember how in crisis on infinite earths when Constantine gose to meet Lucifer he tells him that he wanted to collect in the favor Lucifer owed him? Also the fact the the events food Lucifer happened before all the arrowverse stuff it would make sense that Lucifer as god. Would change hell to be the way we see it in DC legends of tomorrow. Anyways I'd like to see what it is the Constantine did for Lucifer to return the favor

Technically we haven’t seen Lucifer become God and we assumed that he was God cause he survived , everyone bent the knee and cause Lucifer said “ oh my me”. Here is a crazy thought, what if Dan became the new God after he died. After all miracles do happen & an angel can have a baby with a human, a demon can get a soul and the list goes on. Also an angel blessed Chloe’s parents with with her birth and Dan happened to marry her. In addition, Dan slept with Charlotte and there was an overlap for some time. Dan wasn’t found in heaven cause just like the retired god, no one knew where he was. Plus, Lucifer still has his wings and the retired God didn’t have any. Just a thought lol. We didn’t see Lucifer gain the power and the beginning of season 6 could be exactly what happened to Michael when he though he was becoming God but nothing happened.

Oh, what if Dan's Hell loop is watching Trixie be killed by Pony boy as he (in season 4 episode 7) intentionally tipped off Tiernan about Lucifer's involvement in breaking his son's back. This sadly endangered Trixie who if not for Lucifer and Eve would have died. Dan never storywise got over that.

I can see lucifer making hell more about deeds rather than guilt, think about it dan was a good guy who was trying his best to be better but because he felt guilt he went to hell, but lets take someone like the joker, he dosent feel any guilt so will he go to heaven? And dont forget what lucifer says about himself he is not evil he punishes evil

Recall at the end of Dan's episode, when Dan tells Lucifer that he appreciated what Lucifer did because it gave him insight into himself. Lucifer says he didn't do it to help Dan but to punish Dan for what he did. IMHO Lucifer then realizes there is a better way to run hell: less about punishment, and more about giving insight to people about the consequences of choices that have been making, so they can escape their hell loops. If so, we might expect to see other souls besides Dan exiting hell in season 6, for example Linda's ex. :)
