If you feel sorry for Taka and think he was betrayed by a horrible Mufasa, then I'm sorry for you. Don't let Disney brainwash you with their agenda of hating a hero and loving a poor misunderstood villan. Mufasa DID NOT betray Taka. Taka also had the option to leave his brother and start a new kingdom elsewhere. But he chose to live there in a hole of self pity. Taka already proved to be selfish and possibly narcissist, both of which are traits that a true king wouldn't have.

When Scar became the King, he has overhunted, abused the pride (specially Sarabi), blamed Mufasa's death on Simba, in the OG version, Scar even tried to rape Nala @@ this guy is truly a monster, he doesn't need a pity when he grows older

Everyone knows that Taka and Mufasa were blood brothers and Ahadi judged Taka even though he was first born for being weak and fragile. When Mufasa was born he was instantly the favorite.
