New Line Cinema’s horror thriller “IT,” directed by Andrés Muschietti (“Mama”), is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades.
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
“IT” stars Bill Skarsgård (“Allegiant,” TV’s “Hemlock Grove”) as the story’s central villain, Pennywise. An ensemble of young actors also star in the film, including Jaeden Lieberher (“Midnight Special”), Jeremy Ray Taylor (“Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip”), Sophia Lillis (“37”), Finn Wolfhard (TV’s “Stranger Things”), Wyatt Oleff (“Guardians of the Galaxy”), Chosen Jacobs (upcoming “Cops and Robbers”), Jack Dylan Grazer (“Tales of Halloween”) and Nicholas Hamilton (“Captain Fantastic”).

his voice though!..I think its fantastic!. Sure the tim Curry version was good but his voice sounded like a chain smoker, he also didn't capture just how old pennywise is, as he looks more like a John Wayne Gacy knockoff. Here, he looks very historical and the way he can change his voice to sound almost..dare I say..cute..when he says "here..take it"..most adults would high tail it and run..though i'm not sure a kid would.

I don't do well with horror movies and my friends dragged me to see this movie yesterday. I was terrified as hell after the movie but i have to say, it was very entertaining and fun. IT is giving me nightmares. I never noticed how his eyes changed color until i saw it in this. But i think the reason why i'm so terrified, besides me not doing well with horror, it's that this movie revolved mainly around kids. (spoiler warning) When Bev's dad walked into the room when she was all bloody and everything, he couldn't see it. Only the kids and teens saw IT. So me being 17, IT was still scary to me thinking he would come and attack me. But another thing i found interesting is how all of the scenes and scare when IT came on screen, it was day time. Not one scene was during night. Edit: Yes, i am 17 and still terrified of scary movies. Big Whoop. Age doesn’t matter. People have different fears. Something that you may find hilarious may be terrifying to other people, just like how if you found something terrifying, another person can find it hilarious.
