Problem is DICE give full ears to ppl who barely fly and complain 24/7 dying to bombs, and result in the balance swamp we've been in for a long time, thing is, you've barely any flight experience to know how BS plane mechanics are in the first place, had you flown any fighters, you'd know how poorly unfinished the design changes were, but for now, keep spamming this SKILLFUL gadget at planes from stupid ranges than learning some flying lol(besides, I've put BFV down for some months so don't think I'm mad or anything, just interested at how blindly whines are listened to by DICE)

It is a gadget of DICE's favorite assault though. It will only get a slap in the wrist at worst. The pilot mains who are salty are not that good pilot mains if they cannot just learn to adapt and fly higher.

There’s a glitch where if your an Allied soldier and you have the Light Infantry combat role, then you can’t equip the gadget.

@@MrRonski Except panzerfaust has godawful projectile speed, making it almost impossible to hit a plane with it and it is, as the name implies, not meant to be used as an anti-air weapon at all. As someone who always enjoys playing anti-vehicle loadouts since Bad Company 2, (finally!) getting a viable anti-air option after a year of unchecked air tyranny, the FF is a godsend. Having said that, its damage, accuracy and range is clearly not what it should be and there is no way it isn't getting nerfed. I expect to read some patch notes about it soon™.

@H H Panzer is pretty much a lucky shot unless pilot is flying on ground level..and for example in Fjell there's pretty much nothing against planes. AA guns are weak af and only annoyance. The whole map is narrow pathways which are dead easy to bomb even for inexperienced pilots. I do agree the FF is too powerful, but at the same time every AA measures have been way underpowered up until now.

@@cs2d20 Just because they previously could do 50+ kills and 2 deaths does not mean you would need a gadget that brings that down to 2 kills and 5+ deaths. Flying planes atm works like this: Spawn, fly for 10 seconds and maybe drop one bomb, then instantly get shot down by the fliegerfaust.

It's ridiculous that this is a spawn in gadget, and it takes a couple minutes to spawn in a plane, I can't even get dogfight kills without some player one shooting the player im shooting at, and then I get shot and am vulnerable to a plane, They should have a lower firerate on this thing and buff the AA Truck and AA gun, not a gadget that can kill you in one go that every assault player has

But Battlefield 5 has not many smart players unlike Battlefield 4 and 3. The Majority of this game is made of Casual gamers. And Casual gamers love the fliegerfaust so it wont get nerfed or banned. Unfortunally.

As a player who flies a lot I am still very happy about this AA launcher. Now there will be some natural selection between people who fly like tools and those who do not. There will also be a chance to have revenge against the no life fighter pro who is not letting you fly.I hope they do NOT nerf it.

@@michaelz4357 Nobody likes to be bullied out of something they enjoy with no chance to do anything about it. The other day there were like 3 pilots in spitfires working together and emptying the sky and when that was over they started strafing together the ground forces, not even the mobile AA could stop them, they would all bomb it together to pieces. The worst thing in BF games is when a good enough fighter pilot is allowed to reach invincibility. Everything else in the game had a real hard counter while the fighters could hit and run before anything other than a panzerfaust or a tank shot could take them down and then come back after repairing.

@@octapusxft I am not saying infantry should not have gadget to fight back, but fligerfaust mechanic is kinda op sometime result in instant death when two firing at same time, and it is just a gadget. Lower its damage a bit or make hitbox smaller, velocity slower, add a bit skill to it. I do agree if 3 ace pilots works together it is dominating, but all these guys been flying for hundreds of hours, you can't blame ppl working together and get good. A tank squad will dominate if planes are shut down like that, no more air support, then tanks can just get ridiculous kills as well

@@michaelz4357 Aerodrome is a broken map that should not had existed because there are no planes to balance the tanks there. . Perhaps the Flieger could use a reduction to its MAX damage but its min damage is quite OK

It should be nerfed a lot. A gadget that takes no skill to use shouldn't be an one shot kill. I think that it should be more comparable to a panzerfaust but for planes. A panzerfaust can deal 15-25 damage to tanks, the fliegerfaust should be able to deal similar amounts of damage to a plane per salvo. Also, I think that everyone would be much happier if stationary AA was buffed and the fliegerfaust nerfed to what you would expect from a portable gadget.

Well, all AAs and Mobile AAs are virtually useless against plains. Plus, you are taking a Launcher that CAN ONLY be used against planes (pretty much). While the Panzerfaust (for example) can be used for both, Planes AND Vehicles. So I see this pretty balanced. Plus, it’s new so many people are going to be using it for some days.

There is no way the whole community made 100.000.000 kills with only on average 50 servers per console per day.Try your maths and u gonna see that it would take at least 1 month as a community to achieve those numbers on kills.EA and Dice are fuckin with us.Its so simple :")

It's OK to say infantry needs something to counteract pilots but let's be honest here: A weapon that needs absolutely no skill whatsoever to counter a plane that takes much more skill to properly use...this is not a solution. They should have buffed, maybe reworked the AA a bit instead of adding this noob friendly weapon.
