Tyler, you have a beautiful personality, your true compassion about your animals is so refreshing to see. You treat them with respect, and you see them as individuals. It doesn't end there, you are like that with your family too, you don't make them come into the spotlight, only when they want to, so you also respect their privacy. That is why I love watching you on your farm, so different and relaxing to watch. Thank you.

I have some questions, just curious. Do you ever give pain meds or anti-inflammatory in a case like this where her discomfort is obvious but there is no sign of infection? For now is it just better to wait and see if she improves with some rest? And also, would keeping an extra cow or two, or Buddy, in the pen with her help when the time comes to introduce her back into the her? Or would both animal then need to establish themselves in the herd again? I suppose cost of bale feeding when grass is available does not make it desirable to corral any animals unless necessary right now. I love learning about all the in’s and out’s of managing a farm. You are always a sensible and thoughtful person.

Goodmorning from Maine, Bald Face Hornets really enjoy the pine trees of Maine...they find old cut stumps and take up residency really fast...clearing out the backyard 15 years ago of the pine trees, our dozer guy got chased off his machine and stung a few times...he found the nest and it was the size of a 5 gallon bucket...we burned it out and sprayed the spot and used a power washer to make sure we left nothing alive.

❤ Tyler you had your hands full today, but your such a joy to follow. I watch Walker Fam out of Oklahoma and he is fighting hornets everyday. If their not in his fench, their in his chicken coop, he's got a full time job chasing hornets. Keep your chin up. And it looks Beautiful down at the winter pasture, those trees and terrain in the background are really something to look at.

Next time you get her in the chute take your hoof nippers (GE) and trim the hoof wall especially the heels that are starting to curl over then take your hoof knife and clean the sole and see if there is something stuck in the sole or a hole in the sole itself . However I didn't see anything bad with the sole. Remember to take your chain saw next time out in that field to cut the eye pokies out. The new chute and working corral look good.

I was listening to your live - the cat situation, I was thinking the barn is perfect when there is hay in it and they seem to move on when it is gone at the end of the winter - they loose their hidding spot - they do need spaying so they don't wonder - I have seen farmers with 12 barn cats on dairy farms and they have a cat house for them that is warm in the winter and has different levels so everyone has their own spot - if you can find a few kittens (spayed if possible) put them in a cat house when they arrive for a month so they know home base - you will also be able to tame them a little if they are in there so you can worm and flea them each year and be able to Dr them if they are injured or get them to a vet

The iron that is stopping you from tipping your tank of water when it gets almost empty could be solved if you put a hinge on the top part and put a snap bolt in to hold it down to protect your faucet . That would really be a short quick fix and you would really appreciate each time you go to drain the tank.

Im down in Perris, Ca and we noticed a heavy onset of wasps making nests. we sprayed and covered holes but we also mowed and weed wacked overgrown dead vegitation the cattle and goats wouldn't eat. We noticed the wasps moved away from the corrals and to near by covered areas. Maybe clearing out the weeds will help with the wasps.

0:33 Taylor get a cow hoof guy to come in and check her out they usually get them up and running in no time. She's in pain and a cow hoof guy can relieve much of the pain in a very short time. They're just a call away and worth the call. That crack needs to be cleaned out and treared for a complete heal.
