There's a big dif between 120 ft and 1000 meters I doubt it works this far maybe 300 feet ?

Well, the slippery plastic clamp ons and VPS problem aside, I think it's pretty cool. Unfortunately, the FIRST thing that I thought about when you showed this product was something which appeared either on the TV or online News last week. Some guys are using Drones to fly over the razor-wire fences of prisons in order to drop drugs to their "homies" on the inside. This product will make that particular endeavor much easier, I would say. I hope that "FliFli" watches this video and modifies the clamp on framework and moves it to a position which won't interfere with VPS. As you say, you can disable VPS in the DJI GO app (I do many times when flying over water), but optimally, you shouldn't have to do that. You might check your "go home altitude" just to be sure it isn't set at something crazy, but, you're right, its probably the framework. Parachute thing worked great. Mahalo!

What's the range for the drop though? My drone is _unlocked_ so I take mine up over a mile frequently.

Have the back of container attached to a low part of leg that can swivel and the top attached to the release so when it's released the container tilts all the way upside down and gravity takes care of the rest. A flapping lid will help while it's upright 🍻

My first one wouldn't light up. Sent it back. The second one works great. I have a P3S with a gimble guard. If you run your release line over the guard it will shift much of your payload weight to the center. I bought my Fli Fli on Amazon for $99.00

Great and interesting review. Awful pricey and risky too. Saw this one on Amazon. Looks like a better fastening setup, but probably heavier with the 2 9 volt batteries. There out of Florida. Theirs goes for around 85$ on Amazon. A third the price of this unit. Maybe they would send you one for review? Hope you find your Mavic.

Why okay its cheaper use such hard plastic. Look's very flimsy and could break rather easy. Ya why so big. Its not like it will carry pounds of stuff. More like carry fishing line for fishing. Made from the same material as the gimbal camera holder. Great review
