This sassy flight attendant is going viral for his tongue-in-cheek safety instructions while his plane was stuck on the tarmac due to delays.
‘It was because of that flight attendant that we all made it through that flight,’ said passenger Shahyra Monique Grant. ‘He was able to keep us all distracted with humor while we waited to takeoff.’ Grant posted footage of the flight attendant’s routine to TikTok, where it’s received 4.2M+ views.

Some people are not regular fliers and can feel rather tense. His lightheartedness can really lighten the mood and hopefully make for a nice flight. You hear so much of people creating a scene, so he might be doing everyone a big favor with that type of announcing.

Wait until you find out it’s a fake video. In real life you aren’t allowed to have any fun or a sense of humor if you’re a man. Everyone is too anxious and insecure to laugh at anything no matter how funny the joke and they find a reason to get offended about anything. Flying into Panamá on COPA Airlines a few years ago as we were flying over the Panamá Canal the captain announced that we could see the canal to our left side and to the passengers on the right side of the plane he said, “o well you can see the people on your left looking at the canal” 😂😂😂 Everyone started laughing!

@@LindaC616 Agreed! Still love it. One of my favorites was when flight attendants rolled bags of peanuts down the aisle while plane was tilted during takeoff because it was a 20-minute flight. The people on the aisle (I was one) were directed to grab up enough bags as they flew by for you and everyone in your row. After the peanuts, they’re like “here come the drinks!” 😂 It was a blast and had everyone cracking up! This was obviously before COVID. Another that I only saw on KZbin was the toilet paper race. So funny! Look it up!

@ellengrace4609 interesting. I clicked on this because I thought "maybe Frankie has changed routes!" The funniest Southwest flight I ever took was from LA to Palm Springs. The guy's name was Frankie, and he said "if you need anything, just go ahead and push that button. But people, this was a 45-minute Flight." You really should not be pushing that button." 😅😅 He also said during the safety instructions "your seat cushion is also a flotation device, so if the plane goes down, put your arms through the straps, hold it to your chest, and run with me through the desert"

Years ago I had a hilarious flight attendant on my way to or from Puerto Rico. I joke there’s something in the water, but I think there’s something relaxed about working for those flights and the attendants were just happy and allowed to be happy so all the guests were happy. It was a little bumpy flight in an old plane, lots of peace and fun.

@@priiifrg I work in performing arts including comedy festivals so am less impressed with his routine perhaps but thats not the point. He is great, his comedy angle is great, his material is great - the issue is its just as inappropriate as the pilot doing it. Its the SAFETY message. If it were about duty free or car rentals or meal service then go for it. The safety message has to be clear and direct - by law. Thats why its repeated at every single flight regardless of if some of the passengers had flown 1000 times before.. its what to do in an emergency. Its meant to be boring. Air NZ and British Airways have amazing in flight safety videos. Funny and very entertaining BUT incredibly clear and understandable. He isnt.

It also means that those who have never flown have no clue as to what to do if there is a safety incident. By all means, when the flight is safely in the air, joke all you like about the entertainment screens or the drinks service or the meals - safety is the imperative though and his treatment of that safety announcement is dangerous. Of course it isnt if there is no safety issue but that is not the point.
