Was on a flight today with a medical emergency. Flight attendants took control of situation and were able to manage the passenger with volunteer medical personnel until met at gate by emergency crew. You flight attendants are heroes and I cannot thank you for all you do to look after passengers and their safety!!

I agree, rain is so soothing. My fave thing on a rainy, stormy day, is sprawling on my bed with my cat, a yummy snack, and a good book. At night my phone plays heavy rain sounds. So relaxing. This also settles my cat right down. Keeps her quiet all night. Great spending the day with you Julia, and precious Luna. She's delightful.

I watched cooking shows. to see if I can learn a short cut on how todo something. or make something easy. All the years I worked. I would come up with 5 ingredient meals to feed my family. (and just before trash day WE have a soup made from things I need to cook from the fridge so I don't have to toss anything) after working all day fighting traffic and getting home to help with homework. and give my family a good meal or If I remembered I used the crock pot. but to be honest I used it more on my days off.

My son has a pit bull mix. Somehow my granddaughter and Buddy (the dog’s name) got outside. Normally Buddy would take off and run away. This time Buddy stayed put to be with my granddaughter until my son became aware they were both outside.

I'm a cooking show lover but I prefer shows with recipes and techniques I can learn. There are only a few left on Food Network, but my favorites are on PBS: America's Test Kitchen and Cook's Country. Good well tested recipes, and they show the technique to get the best results. You can really learn how to improve your cooking skills - maybe surprise "chef Eric." 😊
