Hey Jenny, I’m glad your doing what you love again! It was my original reason for following you as I love flying. But then I learned of your mental health and how I can relate, and how we take same meds and what not and try helping others thru it. So now it’s gonna be amazing to watch you doing both kinda thing now. I hope you get back to more videos again, especially flying. It’s amazing how open you are, and it showed me how to do the same. Hey Jenny! There’s only so much that you can do to prepare! I know you did the best you could! You said that you didn’t feel confident on the first question. Don’t worry about it too much. It happens from time to time. I’ve stumbled on my words hundreds of times, so your not alone. We all get nervous when going into something new after quite a long time. The only thing that matters is that you gave it your all! Stay confident!! I know your gonna get the face to face no matter what! They’re gonna call you in for the face to face! If you tell them that you’ve worked for them before, chances are very high that they will be inclined to have you in for the face to face interview!! I guarantee you that you will get the job!! I see you getting the flight attendant job very easily! Your enthusiasm and passion to work with customers and work with your colleagues is just beyond amazing! You work so incredibly hard and you always push yourself! I can’t even tell you how incredibly proud of you I am! After quitting your job as a flight attendant 7 years ago and doing the Disney College Program, and now going back to being a flight attendant, is just so admirable! You are so dedicated at everything you do!

I did the assessment interview like that when I was applying for a ticketing agent through Alaska Airlines. Definitely terrifying, I kept stumbling and eventually lost train of thought but I managed to do good enough for the in person interview. I didn't get past the first face to face interview but willing to try again another time! Definitely a great experience!!! Best of luck! ❤️❤️

How did you stop the migraines? I get them occasionally and when you said you used to get migraines it me wonder. I hope you’re filming during training!

My neurologist said I’m a good candidate for the preventative injection that was FDA approved in 2018. I’ll still have my naratriptan for the onset of a migraine, but once I’m flying again, I’ll be getting a preventative shot to reduce the frequency and intensity of migraines.

Hey Jenni! I just got my F2F interview offer for the end of this month. Just curious when your training starts? I'm trying to get a general time frame for the next upcoming months.

The time frame is going to be different for everyone. My F2F was in April, but I didn’t make it into a 2019 class because there were only three left and they were filled by the time the April interviewees got our background checks returned. I started training yesterday (February 6). It seems like most people here had their F2F in September/October, though.

What if you don't have a camera or Skype capabilities on the computer? Also should a male who is applying wear a suit during the video interview?

I did mention that you should be able to complete the video interview on a mobile device, my personal preference was via my laptop. I would highly recommend wearing a suit and tie as that is what men wear while in uniform

Good to see you back! Hope your anxiety and depression are doing better. Will you be able to stay based in Charlotte or will they move you? Were there any questions about vlogging and the rules you have to follow during any of the interviews or training? I see more and more flight attendants start vlogging everyday so I’m wondering if they’ve put a policy in place to deal with it.

I haven’t found out my base yet, obviously I’m hoping for Charlotte but if I get based elsewhere then I’ll take advantage of being at a new base and a new city! As for vlogging/social media: sharing stuff during training is a HUGE no-no. They made that perfectly clear on days one and two. Once we’re on the line, there are company social media policies that we must follow.

Right now is a tricky time because the airlines are still recovering from the pandemic. Keep checking back over the next few months with various airlines, I’ve heard a handful should be hiring by the end of the year!
