I used to truck through Mena often and was funny all the phone booths in town. They were everywhere. Nice job greasing that landing, not bad for a quick short final.

Fun Flight today. I didn't watch the video until this evening. Joe and I flew 93Y to Guthrie to meet our sister and my son & grandson for breakfast. Nice day to fly. Google ""Pilot makes unscheduled landing on Tulsa Raceway." It's an article about a pilot who mistakenly landed on the drag strip back in 2006. It happened once before in 1973. And the place with all the buses is a school bus manufacturing plant. ps - I still haven't purchased new sunglasses 😎

Too funny, but I can see way as it almost looks like an extension of Tulsa’s runway! Funny thing is, when I used to drag race motorcycles at Haynesville, Louisiana drag strip, they would have to lower the “Christmas-Tree” when a plane came in for a landing…..

I guess I never realized there are pretty good sized hills and mountains in that area. I really liked the tower spotting along the way.
