What a terrific story! Superb writing and outstanding voice acting. Built the tension beautifully. Gripping. Maybe the best audiobook I've ever heard. Thanks.

I remember hearing this broadcast as a series on BBC Home Service in the UK, Radio 4 now. It was in the 60s. I used to take my transmitter radio outside as it was summer and sit and listen to it on the lawn. I remember the ending about it being the lousiest landing ever and not to ask them for a job! Still exciting and enjoyable, thank you.

Exciting! Outstanding narration! The narrator deserves an award! I enjoy a lot of audio books but this one is the best narration I've ever heard. Very entertaining.

Yes - the original story was made into a film 'Zero Hour'. The creators of 'Airplane' bought the rights to that film, and used the plot and the dialog for a comedy version!
