This was an encore after I played the Saint-Saens Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso with the New York Chamber Players in 2012 in New York. Somehow I played it faster than my own recording:) Thank you for enjoying this video, and hope you keep coming back for more:) Best, Jasmine

Thank you! I got discouraged because I thought she was better than me and I would never get that good. I have played the flute since 6th grade, so about 4 years now haha. Even though I said it went back into it's case, I opened it again the next day because I love my flute/music, and you can't get that good unless you practice, right? :) But thank you for the encouragement!

I tried to play one of these instruments many many years ago in school, and holy shit it was hard to hold it exactly the right angle to get anywhere near something that for a split seconds could be identified as a sound and then to hold it there continually, just no way.
