Flight Operations, USS Constellation CV 64 (Pt. 4)

Flight operations including launch and recovery procedures aboard USS Constellation in support of Operation Southern Watch in the Arabian Gulf on March 1st, 1995. I was assigned to VFA-151, a Hornet squadron assigned to CVW-2. Great stuff. It is amazing how many people with access to PLAT actually think its all very secret stuff, when in actuality its not.

Yeah, PLAT footage isn't classified unless there is a mishap that is caught on camera. I added the disclaimer since in most of this footage these aircraft are loaded with live ordnance. I'm glad you have enjoyed these clips. I captured them to MPEG-2 years ago and just found the disk a few days ago and I thought they would be of interest. The work of the flight deck crew during flight ops is choreographed and executed to perfection not unlike a ballet.

Wow! I guess the ship's anemic then if it can't produce it's own WOD. It's supposed to in calm winds
