How awesome it must be to have those pigs that he got from Ricky. I've been throwing them for years and when I get a good shot I always say "that'll do pig"

Well at least Arthur Hogget was going to retire the missfunctional pig at that point. I sold mine to a friend as for me the caiman has more consistency. Landing feature is for sure better in the pig as this release promises.

I have 3 Pigs (2 Pro, 1 R-Pro) and it's my favorite upshot disc. Reasons are: it's great for slowing down as it gets closer to the target, without necessarily "dumping." I can throw it really hard and expect it to not go as far as other discs, which is valuable to me when I'm afraid of OB or natural hazards beyond a certain point. It resists turn really well, backhand or forehand. I try to throw it straight for the most part and let it's natural fade slow it down. With anhyzer I can get it around corners and have it stall. And with hyzer it's super dependable and won't skip much. The large and heavy rim really makes it stand out from most putters. It's more of a slow, small-diameter midrange. It's not designed to be aerodynamic, which is great for slowing it down mid-flight. The Pro plastic is apparently Driver Pro plastic, which is rigid, grippy, and just shy of Star plastic in terms of durability. There's also the R-Pro variant, which is the Rubber Pro plastic, which is nearly as tough as the Driver Pro plastic, but is even grippier. The Pig isn't best for putting, but it is great for throwing. It's forte is upshots and approach.

I started throwing a Pig at the end of last season. I fell in love almost immediately. It's so different from anything else I've thrown. He described it just like I would. I also love the feel in the hand.

I started throwing the Pig after watching Ricky throw it on coverage. It has become my goto approach disc. Got a orange one close to being beaten in just right. Everyone in my local club knows the disc, one guy calls it the "Notorious P.I.G."

Pig, pyro, KRAIT, dx thunderbird, and nomad, is all i use. PYRO is my baby it's just like the pig the harder you throw it the straiter it goes.

The Pig is awesome, just wish it was made in premium plastic. A champion Pig would get a nice skip and flair up. The R/Pro ones just eat dirt and stay still. I bag 2 pigs and a Z Zone just because the Zone I can get to skip.

Every body always talks about how bad the pig is in your hand. The pig feels way better than the zone 4 hand and back hand grip. The zone is slick. PYRO PIG and a KRAIT is all I need. If you like a pig you will like the PYRO

These come in a pretty light blue that Ricky Pigs never came in. You're right though, most of them are the same exact shade of blurple.
