Flight Simulator 2024 Tech Alpha - Flight in Norway

As requested, flight from ENSH to ENLK and very good suggestion! A good view of the enhanced peaks and textures on steep mountains. Real weather had way too strong winds and I was unable to takeoff. (omitted from this recording)
If anyone has requests of where to fly around let me know in the comments and I'll try to find the time over the weekend. :)
Graphics settings are all on Ultra. Turned off motion blur as I dislike that feature.
Computer specs:
1080 monitor (with a refresh rate of 60 and set sim to 50% refresh rate)
Intel i7-9700k (not overclocked)
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti
32 GB system RAM

I expected the green grass areas to look much better. It still looks like a washed out fake satellite photo.

I think that in real life, the Norwegian mountains are not that green in October. In this video, the grass should look washed out. It looks too bright and green to me.

Thank you! It looks very nice, but there is still too much trees, so I hope the treefix we have in MSFS2020 will work. They have not included the handcrafted airport at ENLK, will probably be added at release or later.

Great video, thanks for sharing. Is it just me, but for me the MSFS2024 trees look more artificial or let's say more unreal from the air than the MSFS2020 do. They look somewhat cartoonish.

I agree it didn't look good. Hopefully they will fix that. I haven't seen it that bad in the many hours I've flown it though.

Mountains still look terrible. It is the same like MS2020. I don´t see any difference maybe it is little bit worse

The only difference per now is that stretched textures at steep mountains are corrected by AI, and lighting, trees etc. Same Bing and DEM.

Youre an idiot. This is just a tech alpha. The earth is 2 petabytes of data in 2020, we didn’t see any issues with that. Keep crying little kid
