Flight Simulator 2024 Tech Alpha - KLAL to KTPA

By requests: KLAL to KTPA and landing on a road.
I have noticed when there is photogrammetry, the trees look like the nasty old ones from 2020 up close.
If anyone has requests of where to fly around let me know in the comments and I'll try to find the time over the weekend. :)

I’m in the alpha too. I’ve noticed for example that KMIA looks way awful with lots of melted buildings and missing photogrammetry compared to MS2020. I’m really hoping this is because MS2024 doesn’t have the world updates which have the photogrammetry of USA for example.

How is the performance on your hardware compared to MSFS 2020? And could you fly from ENSH to ENLK in Lofoten Norway? (Nice mountain scenery)

It runs smoother than 2020 in my case. But let's keep in mind this is a stripped-down alpha so the true test will be after release, I guess. I will find the time to fly over Norway soon. :)

Yeah performance is definitely WAAY better. It’s weird though. In MS2020 I get about 90 fps with frame gen but in MS2024 I will get like 70 fps, BUT it looks WAAAAY smoother with not one single stutter. So I get less fps in MS2024 but it’s just much smoother as if though it looks like I’m getting more fps.

Thanks. :) When I first got into the new sim, I spent over an hour setting my controls as none of had default settings. I sometimes have to re-launch the program as controller settings sometimes erase.

Good video! My main issue with 2020 is that with DLLS and frame generator the screens and dials of the cockpit panel are blurry to a point I have to run without DLLS and Frame generator to be able to use them. Can you tell me if that is solved in 2024 please?, can you run with DLLS and Frame generator with clear screens and dials?

The airports are still ugly and the city buildings still look like they are melting.yes you can walk around but what will you see.

This alpha build doesn't have any hand-crafted airports even the ones that we know will be included on release. I agree the regular ones still look the same. However, the ground markings even on non hand-crafted airports are superior in quality.

Besides, I'm thinking Asobo and Microsoft always want to keep in business other Developers. Once this comes out, you can be sure they (the other developers) will swing into action modding KLAX and EGGL and so on. Don't despair.
