Interesting to see as it's been on our list for ages so now we know what to expect, thanks, Algy!

Thanks for filming the landing and where would we be without a good pilot story! Shame that the weather put some people off but as you say, a great place to visit. Nice to see the Bobcat up close and I feature it in my video to follow at some point. :)

Thank you for the positive feedback. Sorry for holding you and John up, with the pack that gathered around it as we were settingup to go. She is currently off lineaswe have stripped it to the bare bones for inspection and to upgrade the skins and composites to production standards.

Great video Algy and the aircraft looks impressive, even in the development stage. Stow Maries is on our list. Can't wait to visit!

@@roybilbe1378 lovely runway 60m wide, it's like landing at Heathrow. Not sure if it's still open but can give you a number to call.

That was a good chance to give a longer test (and exhibit) of the Bobcat. Nice to see Tim making an appearance in your video too, albeit at a slight distance. Its a shame the weather wasn't better. I think I recognised an RE.8 and Albatross in the hangar.

We had flown it for long time but not had a nice trip out. Yes it was good to see Tim but I did not want to impose on his story telling too much. You are correct with your aircraft recognision. Will probably go again and might even pop in on Tim on the way.

Worth while.They are struggling for funds due to having the road to them closed for the summer. Very interesting exibits.

If only they would let flexwings in, would love to go there.

@@frizzlefry5904 it is restricted due to planning, from what I gather, autogyros and twins can't o either. It is a shame how people can stop flying from an airfield that existed before they were born.

Nice one mate. Would love to see a bit more of what’s in those sheds!

@@donwtsn my camera didn't like the light and I didn't want to show too much, otherwise the cheapskates wouldn't go. I know there are enthusiasts like you who can't make it. I imagine you can't wait to get back to Frankenstin.

I had to look up that airfield. Interesting location. Was there a lot of condensation on the cameras, they just seem a little blurry?
@flyingkub2 ай бұрын
It is an interesting airfield with Southend airspace just 1500ft over it. Yes, the humidity had managed to get inside the camera and even now having been put in a box with cilicagel it still is not clear, so I think thereis residueon the sensor or lens so it will probably be thrown.
