Five star rating for your VLOG, Stevo. The video's look professional, lack distracting background music, and you provide great explanation of the actions you perform in the cockpit. You personally have a calm voice, speak clearly, and have a friendly tone when speaking.

My home airport is KMYF (Montgomery Gibbs Executive), which is right next to Miramar Air Station, where Top Gun took place. I do the Miramar Transition all the time . . . never gets old flying over what is now a Marine Corp station. F18s, Ospreys, C130s taking off and landing as you cruise over it at 2900ft.

It has always been a military procedure to announce "IFR to [Destination]" on initial contact with local control (Tower). At civilian airports, there is no guarantee the tower has your exact flight plan and it avoids confusion at busy airports.

Great flight Steve! Way to stay on top of things while dealing with TPA Ground. It would be easy to panic with a controller's mistake like that at a big airport, but you showed us how pros work. Really neat view of MacDill AFB, too. I remember as kid at NAS Key West, F-16s from MacDill would always fly down to use the Navy's Gulf of Mexico airspace. Great memories.

Noticed the frustration regarding the hand over from ground to tower. I also noticed the ground controller you had is the same controller in training that I had the other day. His trainer had to step in at times and tower didn't know what I had asked for as well. I guess we just have to give him a chance. Lol.

I remember in the early 90s we would fly Mu-2s into Airforce bases as part of a documents/freight contract. The funny part was we would swarm over the F15s/16s etc ooh and aahh and they would swarm the Moo and be like what the hell is that. I also remember seeing a B2 Stealth 5 yrs before it was publicly announced but thats another story.

Hey, love your videos. I'm a private pilot and I own and operate a video production company in Orlando. I like to put your vlogs on a fly along while I'm working on stuff at the office. The TBM seems like a fun plane to fly. I just recently transitioned from traditional cockpit to G1000 in the 172S I fly. It's a handful at first, but once I got the flows down, I'm enjoying it. Anyway, I think you're doing a great job putting these vlogs together. The music and extra footage on the intros and outros is great. Pacing is nice. Cameras look great for action-cams. Hope you completely disregard all the arm-chair pilots and wana-be video producers out there that feel the need to complain about everything they see on KZbin. Keep up the great work.

+Blackburst Entertainment thanks bud. I am glad you enjoy the videos. It is funny how everyone that dislikes the videos doesn't even have a video of their own to show how it's done.
