FLIGHT CHOPS DISCLAIMER:
I am a "weekend warrior" private pilot, I fly for fun with no intentions of going commercial. I have had my PPL for over 15 years, but still consider each flight a learning experience - I generally take detailed notes after each flight to remind myself what went well or what I could do to improve.... Having the GoPro cameras to record flights like this is invaluable. I find these self analysis videos very helpful in my constant quest to improve, and am happy to share. Feedback is invited; however, please keep it positive.

Thoughtful and impressive editing job. Jump cuts back to the pics, instrument dash, vg's, field and hangar work amplified interest and helped to maintain the continuity in multiple story lines. So did the seamless mix of ongoing discussions on the ground and inside the plane punctuated with your personal observations and narrative. Appreciate that you took the time and made the extra effort, Chops. Very professional job. Your channel contains a lot of substantive content and it's become one of my fav and def must visits on my KZbin flybys. So glad I found your site, especially for the production values.. Watched this one three times. It's a teaching moment for those of us thinking about building our own channel.

What a great looking bird! I love the look of tundra tires, not to mention the ability to handle some serious terrain. A float landing seems really sketchy to me. I can't help but think about the front of the float dunking under and flipping the airplane. I know that's not really an issue though. Very nice first landing by the way. I'll have to finish watching after work.
