Hey BD.. Good to have you back. Thanks for sharing. I got the FMS 1700 and its a wonderful scale flyer, a gentle giant for sure. I hear this one has a bit more punch though.. Look forward to your comparison. - Will

Thanks bro! FMS 1700 big scale flyer and has newer design (servos near all surfaces where FL has long rods with servos up front). Better lights and decals on FMS too! No gyro i feel it handles the wing better. Flightline flies lighter,more nimble with faster top speed and vertical. Parts are easier and cheaper to get with Flightline than FMS.

I bought one of those on 15 Jan 2020 and it's still in the box, never assembled. I was going to paint it like the one at Mid America Flight Museum in Mt. Pleasant, Texas which is about 60 miles west of me. I'll get it put together one of these days. I've been having too much fun flying EDF's. I did just get the E-flite 1.5m P-51D Mustang and have flown it several times. Mid America Flight Museum also has a P-51D with the Lou IV paint scheme, but instead of blue, it looks green to me. Look for P-51D Engine Failure on Takeoff on the Blancolirio KZbin channel.

My favorite foam Corsair by far. Had issues with the gear. More like the gear holding up to my bad landings actually. Now that I’ve got some better skills it’s holding up fine. 5200s all the way forward but I can’t recall if I removed any weight or not. I love the minwax look BD. Looks great

I like this Flightline alot too! Agree the gear can only take so much but without really hitting on landing should be good. I have around 12-15 flights without any issues now...
