Amazing how many blade's and cores you find over there, I'm over here right up to lake Erie, and right after your last video I found my first blade core, very big one, thanks for your video!

@@davelink1318 Thanks Dave! Yep tons of blade tech over here because so many of their tools and points were all based on bladework. Cool you found a big blade core, I’d be interested to see that. I’ve not seen many from the US 👍

The material of the wood working tool is wild....I've found a few flakes of the same material....No telling how far some of the material traveled 😮❤for trade etc.up and down rivers and along the seas and oceans.

@@Pinebedrelics Oh yeah.. Trade extended surprisingly far back then no doubt! Cheers.

My belief is we should take or rescue any artifact when you find especially in a famers field. You take it and persevere it or it will get broken and ruined eventually.

@@flintingscandinavia1878 I’d like to know what do you do with all your artifacts or rocks? I’ve recently started collecting effigies and debitage and I have so many. I find them everywhere. Small rocks. How do you choose the ones you display and ones you box and put away? Every piece has its on story and history behind.
@flintingscandinavia18785 ай бұрын
@@themama3633 I leave almost everything in the field. If I happen to find material on a site where I can legally remove it I try to be selective and only take the pieces I’d want to display. I find keeping stuff in boxes is a bit of a waste of time. 😊 Cheers.

Finally some UP 😁 That core axe at 9:30 was cool too. Looks like Kristianstad flint judging by the spotty inclusions?!

@@danielflintknapping Thanks dude! Ahhh interesting with the Kristianstad flint. It only appears on this field out of all the spots I hunt. Almost entirely in UP work up until now.
