Agreed. If I were a game dev I’d try to avoid having a trailer of my game posted on IGN - people here seems to either hate videogames or think all videogames must be made exclusively to their own particular taste.

The rampant negativity nowadays, especially on KZbin, hurts my morale as a gamer. I can't imagine what it does to the people that work hard to make games of all sorts. I think the game looks fun. I hadn't heard of it until now but it reminds me of the Blackguard games and I really enjoyed those. I look forward to playing it.

I really enjoyed it! Much better than the majority of titles from EA, Ubi and other Big developers/publishers! I prefer to give my money to this game, this studio then pay for Outlaws or the new Naughy Dog IP with the bald person. I will buy it.

Finally a pirate game that doesn't star multiple purple-haired girl-boss captains! I like this proper pirate aesthetic! If only they'd make a Path of Exile style arpg with pirates searching for treasue on their upgradeable sea-faring ship! That would be cool!
