Java fern, amazon sword, and crypt balansae have all given me trouble. I thought they were supposed to be easy, blegh. But my anubias and aponogeton both grow really well.

I am also excited about aquatic plants! Botanicals too. After watching Rachel's video yesterday on botanicals, I have a shipment coming from Tannins soon and tomorrow - yet another shipment of plants for Aquarium Co-op. I've had great success with the plants that they have sent me. I will check out Flip Aquatic's plants too.

I must not have the magic touch for any type of crypts. Everytime the start getting more then 6 to 10 leaves they seem to stall then melt back. Same problem with contortion val. The struggle is real.

Nice haul 👍. I'm not a fan of the Api test strips. If you wanna use strips, I'd recommend the Tetra strips. I've found them to be of better quality. They also have an accompanying app that you can use to take a picture of the strip and it will tell you your parameters.(not really necessary if you know what you're doing, but still kinda cool)

test strips are such a waste of money. they almost never work. stick to liquid testers if you dont wanna end up killing your tanks D; also this makes me so exited for summer. im so gonna order a bunch of plants and make my first plantet tank since moving. last time i did something wrong because all the plants melted.... so gonna try again!

one of the many perks of being a popular fish-tuber, you get some pretty good quality stuff to help promote plant shops :P I have water sprite in my tank, its similar to wisteria and it breaks SO easily but you can just float it and it'll keep sprouting babies lol Also curious if those strips work well, i have the little test strips from walmart, i think they're tatra brand and it really sucks, like they don't work at all x'D
