Initially, I had high hopes that my FlipperZero would have been delivered in time for my 🎂birthday🎉 just a few days ago but sadly that wasn't the case😒. Unfortunately, it appears there are some minor delays with the courier Hermes/Evri here in the UK. It was scheduled for delivery today before 4pm but it didn't arrive yet. You'd need to know the vendor (CAME, NICE, Ansonic, etc.) and frequency, both. Then, use the ″Sub-GHz Bruteforcer″ application, and select the right vendor + frequency combination (like ″CAME 12bit 433MHz″).

You don't have to be that close to the remote or the receiver to jam the signal, you merely have to be jamming somewhere in between them.

From practical experience with at least the Zero with no external antenna attachments ― the jamming range is pretty much as in the video. When trying it out on my friend's car, the only way jamming worked 9/10 times was when I kept the Zero on the windshield above the dash where the car's RF receiver is located.

@@shurikenhacks All that comes to mind is to take your time with this one and know that if you want to make it useful, you are probably going to have to learn how to read raw pulse sequences and figure out how to extract digits from timing code. It seems it could be useful for grabbing protocols that the F0 doesn't immediately recognize, but I think it's probably a tool for folks with more in depth knowledge of converting raw binary code into useful information than I currently possess. Kind seems like URH Lite.

Curious AF question! Understand that the external CC1101 module people are hooking their Zeros up with is literally the same radio module the Zero comes with internally. They just add the external module so they could then attach an _external antenna_ to it. Secondly, when you add the external radio module via GPIO, it's that external radio module _itself_ that does the transceiving. All the Zero does is provide the required power and the _interface_ to control that module. Speaking of the required power, such low-powered radio modules have an operating voltage of up to ~3.5V only, and simply just giving it ″more voltage″ won't really do you any better. Could probably even start smelling ugly silicon toast. But I digress ― to answer your question quite directly, no, it's not that simple. An amplifier module + external power (if necessary) set up on the Zero could be significantly effective relative to default. Disclaimer: This illegal, pls no do. If you do, I no go jail.

With Wi-Fi in the colloquial sense, no. There are no Wi-Fi mice/keyboards (AFAIK) that can register as HIDevices. If you're talking about ″wireless″ mice though, those mice with dongles operate on [2.4GHz - *wireless],* which is technically the same _frequency_ as [2.4GHz - *Bluetooth],* but they're not the same _standard._ So... with mice with wireless dongles, your Flipper would need an external GPIO module that operates on [2.4GHz - *wireless]* like the NRF24 ― for what's called as ″mousejacking″ attacks.

You should be good as long as you're not jamming for more than several minutes constantly. Gotta understand it's a tiny, packed device; so it's _bound_ to at _least_ heat up after a few minutes, which can at the very least harm the long-term battery life (upon extensive jamming). Damaging the _transceiving_ component(s) though is a bigger concern here, which again shouldn't be an issue for some minutes. Regardless, since the jamming .sub files themselves play for just ~30 seconds, you won't have to worry about forgetting/leaving it on and damaging anything.

With the signal strength of the Flipper Zero, that shouldn't be possible. I have tried jamming my friend's car (with their permission), and I had to place the Flipper right on the receiver (on the windshield, right above the blinking anti-theft light on the dashboard) to successfully jam it.

If you (jammer) and the key fob are both at A and fairly distant from the vehicle at B, I reckon the jamming works for you since the signal from the key fob is being drowned out by the jammer's signals originating from essentially the same point (A→B) as far as the receiver is concerned. Now, if you (jammer) are at A, the vehicle's at B, and the key fob's at C―which is a more practical and realistic attack scenario―then the power/range on the jammer would have to be significantly higher to be jamming C→B signals effectively.

This was hardly education or even helpful, why not explain how the jamming code works? Or even better, how to go from capturing a raw signal to creating an opposing signal that could jam it?
