Episode 3 of the 1 gold to 10k flipping challenge.
Here are the current rules:
1. No gold transfers between characters
2. No outside help (includes free crafts)
3. Character must stay lvl 1

I started watching this series a few days after week 1s release. Thanks for this series it’s entertaining, informative and honest and it inspiried me to play the AH. it’s helped me stay self sustained. I didn’t play classic so I didn’t have a stockpile of gold and after farming out all my crafts/consumes/epic flying, I really haven’t had a passion to farm anything, I only wish this series started sooner. Keep it up man, very much appreciate your honesty and straight forward-ness.

I main a priest and find farming to be miserable work so I mostly farm the auction house, this is a pretty cool idea/challenge you've set up! best of luck!

For some reason talking about hoping to sell the big ones like spellstrike and what not, immediately followed by the picture of you drooling over rough stones made me laugh, like Jeff Bezos rushing into an antiques store picking up stamps that those suckers had priced too low that he can easily flip for some cents profit. Great video man, just goes to show how tiny rivers can become an ocean.

Awesome content! Motivated me to make my own little challenge since I had a toon with roughly 1g on a different Server that I eventually plan on leveling. Got to a point where I bought 30 Motes of Air cheap and just when I wanted to resell the Primals someone was super insane to put up like 20 Primal Airs for just 9g which the market has not yet recovered from and Primal Airs are too cheap to sell mine. So I am now stuck until prices are up again, because I am too stubborn to sell it for less than I bought the Motes for :D If only I had the gold to just buy all of the Primals off. Anyhoo, just a little story for the algorithm, keep up the insane work! Can't wait for the bigger flips

Haha damn, ye I hate being in that gold lvl where you can't do much but wait for prices to move naturally. Sometimes though, it's better to sell at a loss and move on, but i'm sure those primals will sell soon enough for a good price for ya! Keep it up !

I love picking up underpriced blues and DEing them for Large prismatic shards. I did a 2g bid on a ring once and won lol. Shards were going for 30g at the time.

Great content! I really enjoy your monitoring on lower skill mats and although is not a big income is sustainable for the most part and very entertaining so stop apologizing for not going all in on a big purchase. Also I just wanted to suggest that you should keep crafting the gear you sell, because buying at some point a great piece and just selling it for 10% profit would kinda ruin the fun.

The Armor Kit was a weird move. I knew you'd end up juggling it. You bought it and relisted it 1c under a failing post. (the one you undercut was well above market value, and expiring. this was enough information for me to have not went for it). very least I would have tried doubling the post price of the one purchased. As soon as you said '100g', I was like... ehh, I don't think so. Great gains on everything else as usual though! Love this series. Gonna be fun watching some bigger flips in the next episodes.

Might be risky, but aldor and scryer rep items vary a lot in value, and also it could be worth swapping fish and meat for the cooked dishes if something that is widely used, it'll add to variety. I bet you will still have a few aquamarines left at the end of the last video, it took me over a month to sell around 35-40, but I got 2g 55 s for most of mine. Don't ever try to flip Citrines though I think it was the worst selling one, even though I eventually made between 20-35s and sold my 20 over 2-3 months, the tigerseye you are better of vendoring for 1s each unless you get super lucky, try a few moss agregates and blood rubies though, price goes down in the weekend, but goes back up monday to thursday for most gems.

It's hard to say as it was my bank alt previous to this series. However, to give you a rough idea, I typically spend about 45min / day just grabbing my old aucitons, relisting and searching for new ones. Basically I just take my lunch break to record these most of the time.

Some of Ungoro crystals can make quite juicy profit. Used for leveling BS skills. Not a must in TBC, but some ppl just blindly follow guides, so they just buy the pricey crystals instead of finding cheap alternatives. Many prof stuffs go by the same rule

ive personally done this on earthfury alliance side before it died i turned 50g into 5k in classic so it was fun until all that gold went into raiding consumes for naxx my best flip was buying 100 bloodvine for 1g ea and resold them for 10-30g ea made 3k+ on that alone

I really liked your try! However didnt work for me on Golemagg - Alliance and my investments turned into disaster xD. This propably would work better in most crowded servers such as firemaw or gehennas (horde side)
