@FurnitureFlippingTeacher3 жыл бұрын

If the back can come off. Some do not have that kind of thin board on the back, You would actually have to take the whole piece of furniture apart on all my cabinets. It is a good idea however.
@dorothyyoung82313 жыл бұрын
You can put the wallpaper on a piece of MDF, then using double-sided tape to hold it in place. The shelves will also keep the “false back” in place.

😎From AZ...Awesome ideas on how to attach wallpaper, etc to bookcase inside back or cabinets. For example; I use IKEA Billy bookcases often for many of the rental homes I have owned and they are great to carry a heavy load per shelf and now come in prepainted colors. I removed the backing, papered and carefully re-nailed the back on with tiny nails. Great updated look for staging with minimal decor pieces or tenants books etc.

I have a piece I’m working on now with warped doors. I looked up a old trick that worked great and it straightened the doors. If you can remove the glass...do so first. If not it’s fine with them in just need to be more careful. I laid the doors on the concrete garage floor. Put wet rags over all the wood and kept the rags wet. Put weight on each corner of the door frame to weigh it down flat to the floor. As the water draws into the wood it slowly took the warp out! Kept the rags and weight on the doors for a full day and night. Worth a try and it did work for me! Maybe you can try it to on a future project with this issue! By the way...I use to live in Bellevue and now live in southwest Colorado...and my son and his family live in Millard area of Omaha. Small world! You did a great job 👏🏻

It is really cute!!! Good job! Try using the wallpaper that you wet on the back rather than peel and stick. Everyone will tell you that peel and stick is easy. But even pros hate it. The kind that you wet on the back allows for more leeway. It is also even cheaper with greater selection. You can line it up once wet and it is wayyyyyy more forgiving allowing you movement without folding and bending your paper. Also a dry eraser is nicer for burnishing because it doesn't scratch the paper.
