This video is by far one of the best videos on KZbin! Everyone never explains this in their videos and I think this is the most challenging part of sewing. I make u-part wigs for myself and my edges have never been flat. Thank you so much for making this video.

YAS!!! Thanks for carefully explaining the solution to the problem I was having with flipping tracks. You showed that it's ok to leave a part ahead of the braid, secure it and then "go back" to secure that flipped tip to the braid. Can't wait to try sewing again without cutting up all the hair.

when i sew do i have to double the weft or use a single weft ? Actually which one do you recommend doubling or single ?
@ItsMeMissRuby7 жыл бұрын
I do both all the time. Usually I double the wefts when my client wants 3 or more bundles installed and sometimes I even double them when they only want 2 but I'll only double one bundle ( the one used at the bottom ) then single out the top bundle. It just depends on how flat you can keep the install when flipping the tracks and how much hair you are trying to squeeze into the head.

Double or single weft better?
@ItsMeMissRuby6 жыл бұрын
Neither is better than the other, in my opinion, they just need to be used in different areas of the head. Double wefts should be used primarily on the bottom and single wefts on top.

When you start do you supposed to start with two tracks at a time
@ItsMeMissRuby4 жыл бұрын
Not necessarily but I usually do
@iceefutureactress16 жыл бұрын
Where do I start curving the tracks upward when I am doing my middle part (on my head) and once I curve the tracks do I continue to do it when close to my leave out ?
@ItsMeMissRuby6 жыл бұрын
You can start as far down as your ear (taking that track from your ear all the way up to the 2nd highest braid in the pattern) but it all depends on your hairline, head shape, and how much leave out you're working with. To be safe I'd recommend starting the curved tracks midway up head and only curving each track a bit.
