I’ve heard only great things from Crimson Dawn and personally I’ve contacted them with my questions and received responses in no time! They were super transparent with their stock and some of the reasons for back orders which I really appreciate! I’d love to get one of their sabers!

i dont know what they were thinking. i have two initiate v5 and they sliced my hands up horribly so i sanded the claws. i will be doing this, THANK YOU for this video so much. ultrasabers has decent products at best. not enough thought goes into combat needs in my opinion.

@@themeparkdna683 i just finished. easy peasy. one pin got stuck though, after about 8 different pliers I tried one finally worked and I got it in position. NOW I CAN ACTUALLY USE THE SABERS! YAY! xD

I had no idea the claws were even removable. I gave mine away to a friend who liked it more then I did. I am regretting that now. If I ever get another, I am gonna do this to it. And I might just have to test it out on his first though ^^.

I removed my electronics and added some RGB 9 font electronics from saber studio, I also brushed the metal then re polished for a half dull look, added a D-Ring in the pommel, then added some black leather wrap on the top choke hold! Looks amazing and feels amazing

I was very close to getting the Aeon V5 but I am not a fan of their electronics at all... Although the brood guard stunt for me is working nicely as a combat trainer.. BTW this is actually pretty cool taking the claws off and DIY'ing it a little.. Nice info for anyone who has this and i do like it better flipped..! 👍

I actually have an Aeon LE v5 myself and noticed the uncomfortable grip as well. I also tried to remove the claws myself, but gave up pretty quickly because I thought they were welded to the hilt. Definitely gonna try it out myself. Thanks for sharing!

I originally thought they were screwed in from the inside since you can see them held in there, but they just pop in and out! Which I knew that then but I still got it done either way

I use them to ship sabers in. I prefer the smaller of the 2. I cut the flaps off the end of 2 boxes and tape them together. Perfect fit. Thanks for watching, good luck!

This one does not, it's a stunt. I got it as a $75 mystery box. You can order it with sound but it's a fair amount more expensive. You could order it as an empty and either install sound yourself or send to an installer to do for you.

Would it be possible to only insert one of the pins in so that the bottom of the claws are higher and the top extend past the emitter like the claws on the raven or war glaive? One of the pins would be showing if it can be done but might look cool regardless🤷‍♂️👍

Yes it could be done, but it probably isn't advisable. For one the claw would have 50% friction holding it in. The extension of the claw would likely cause it to pop off the first whack it takes. The one pin holding it in would act like a fulcrum (pun intended) and it would pop right off. Also, the bottom half of the slit wod be exposed and unattractive in my opinion. Still, that is an interesting idea. If you tapped that top hole with threads you could theoretically use a screw to hold it in place better. Great suggestion and comment! Good luck!

Oh no worries! I always debate it with myself but I think I would go with a style that is built off of form III and from V. Then I’d just use that base to hybridize it into a from VI variant. 😁

Probably my Bors the Dragonslayer after I wrapped it with leather. Very comfortable, nearly perfect dimensions. I bought that as an affordable starter neopixel and it has become one of my favorites!
