Oh my! I need to take a deep breath here. I found myself pausing, pausing, gasping...ooohing and aaahhhing...then pressing "play" again...over and over! +Louise Murr I either trace something with a pencil or I use my Cameo and draw something (you can put in a pen instead of a blade to draw instead of cut) and then I poke a hole every 1/4" all the way around. Then I backstitch through the holes :) Hope that helps!

I have another question...sorry. :) Would you say that you mainly use scraps or do you mainly start with full pieces of paper? If you start with full pieces of paper, do you have tons of scraps? I would think so. Do you often make layouts using the same papers since you only use a small piece of them? I would love to do the look of mixing patterns more often but I feel like I'm wasting my papers unless I were to use them again, KWIM?

+Tracie Claiborne I usually do start with 12x12 sheets and just cut into them. Which is why I love 6x6 paper pads, I feel like I'm not wasting so much then. I donate or do goodie boxes with the cut-up papers and/or try to use them multiple times.

I do and these are all in albums now :) I put all my layouts in albums about twice a year. It's a time consuming process because I put them away chronologically so I have to find where they go in their correct album and move layouts around, sometimes I don't stamp the date on the layout so I have to research and find out when the photo was taken, etc!
