This is one of the BEST flipthroughs I’ve seen on KZbin (no joke!) It’s so inspiring and the ideas of how to incorporate more pages without using signatures is mind blowing! I loved that envelope that opens up into a piece of paper--GENIUS! The hidden tuck spots, pockets and the book mark with “READ” on it?! Makes such an impact with minimal supplies. I mean, who doesn’t have a bunch of book guts laying around? I could think of so many words of affirmation that I could put on those bookmarks OR turn them into belly bands! Thank you so much for sharing.

It's difficult for my brain to even comprehend what I'm looking at!!! But I will be looking at THIS video many more times. And with the KZbin videos notated within journal, I can watch those all again too. I just love EVERYTHING about your STYLE!!! Nobody does journals like you. Hi Cori! I am a fairly new watcher. In the junk journaling world I've spent the majority of the past 5 years being an admin and moderator in a few groups and have not crafted as often as I'd like. When I look at your creations I realize I am quite the beginner. Your attention to detail is off the charts. I love the tiny bits that you include, the way you gloss up pieces, the clean lines of your inking, the pieces you create to hold down flaps and folds, your use of doilies and how you put them on just the right color of paper to make them stand out. I've read some of the comments and I see that I'm not the only one who is in awe and super inspired by what you do. And it's not only how you make things but also your detail in decorating; the things you add to accentuate what you made. I'd like to see a short tutorial on that envelope you showed at the end made of just one piece of paper. That was outstanding! Thanks for sharing this labor of love. 🌹
@CoriDahmen2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the wonderful comments. The time you took to share your thoughts and opinion is deeply appreciated. Another video topic on my short list is an "after the book" video where I show the pieces I made and included in that journal that don't already have their own video. I have been inspired in m y own JJ journey by specific people and the one characteristic I'm most drawn to is those that pay special attention to detail. So, I try to do that in my own makes. Happy creating to you and I hope you enjoy your re-adventure into a different aspect of this creative industry.

I have had so much on my plate and I have not been able to do this series with you. But it is my hope that after the first of the year I am able to go through the whole series. Because I often do need inspiration and remember how to do things. I have been journaling for many, many, years and a lot of trends have come and gone. I know I have missed some, and some I can barely remember. I truly want to make these ideas so I can use them over and over again. I am not sure I want one large book, but perhaps several small ones. But with that being said, I do love yours!!! Thanks so much for this series and for sharing all of your flips, flaps, and folds!
