Excellent informative video... I have a 1986 Spree and considering buying one of these guys for a little more speed. Have you ridden a Spree.. it's probably apples and oranges due to one being a motorcycle and one being a scooter... the C70 almost seems like a hybrid of them.

Here in Michigan you do not, but that varies by state.

In my state you need a motorcycle license for anything over 50cc

You are incorrect about MI laws. This would be classified as a motorcycle. This is because the operator still has to shift it and it can exceed the 30mph limit for Mopeds. Cheers.

I didn't have a title for mine, but basically a sales receipt. At Secretary of state I just called it a scooter and was given a scooter tag. I suppose that a very observant cop might notice the discrepancy, but in the City I keep it within the speed limit, and have never had a problem!
