Great video. Looks like a great yoke might even think about putting my other yokes up for sale to put towards this.

That’s pretty cool! Cheaper than a Yoko. The only way to take advantage of physics in these sims.

It always surprised me that people will spend thousands on a GPU that is out of date in 2 years but are wary of spending the same money on a yoke or pedals that will last them 20 years or more. I assume holding attitude and trimming force away works as in real life ?

Very true! Yes, that is correct.

Is the CL120 worth it or is the 60 sufficient? I fly corporate jets and airliners.
@AusFlightSimmer21 күн бұрын
Ive never used the 120. But I fly GA IRL and I would say the 60 is enough for that. I would assume jets are smoother.

Do not forget about shipping from Singapore, and that will not be a small cost.

Hi, will you be reviewing the Thrustmaster AVA Base? They will possibly be releasing an Airbus handle in the future.

Got some other hardware reviews on the way, that's not on the list. I will look into it.

There already is an Airbus handle. By fsprojects

Sorry, Shane, but $800US is not what I would call affordable for most home simmers. I could $400-$500 but no, this is too expensive.
@JenniferinIllinois8 ай бұрын
I agree with you. I look at 'affordable' topping out at around $500 as well. Now, $800 is MORE affordable than $1100 but still out of my price range just for some force feedback.

Fair enough, everyone’s perspective is different. Thanks for the comment.

$799 is just the Indigo backers price. Retail price will be $999. So only $100 cheaper than the competition. Still looking to break myself one at the $799 price. As it looks like an amazing piece of kit.

That control box is waaaay too big/tall. The yoke shaft is towards the top. This is a deal breaker for most Air Manager desktop/touchscreen users. Devs should realize that AM Touchscreen desktops/knobster are a very cool/flexible solution. Compare to Simionics FFB low profile. Not affiliated. Beware the immersion rabbit hole!

I don t really agree with the vibration on the yoke due to engine running. In a real aircraft like the 172, you don t feel the engine vibrationbtheough the yoke. On startup, it is the whole cabin slightly shaking, so if the feature is to replicate this, then fine, but it is not specific to the yoke but the whole cabin instead. What can be felt though on startup, is the prop wash that moves the elevator position and hence the yoke pitch position. But when yhe engine is idling on the ground, there is no vibration felt on the yoke. The price positioning makes it the most interesting yoke even against non-ffb yoke. It s a no brainer imho.

$800 still too much... with this price, the C company will miss 95% of the F.S. market . If you look at my last video, I didn't spend 500$ for the entire cockpit build

Iris Dynamics made the finest FFB Yoke to ever been designed. Unfortunately, they never went into full production with them as they found a more industrial biz model. Their linear motors are amazing and the only way to fly. They sell the motors individually and also make motion platforms. Expensive is the key.
