Then seen him look like a battle hardered mustache man in talaash, then as a fat man and bodybuilder in dangal. Man is a vampire. He's so famous here in Italy, we identify india and Bollywood often with him.

I'm glad you two enjoyed this. "3 Idiots" was immensely popular and influential in Asia when it came out. I remember this making rounds among college students in my country (The Philippines) when I was still studying in my University. Then I learned it was the same not only in India but also across Southeast Asia and East Asia. Even heard that this became a required watch for high schoolers/middle schoolers in South Korea at some point. So, it's a delight that it's getting attention these days in North America as it is, i believe, one of the best movies to come out of Asia. I would like to add though: one of the reasons why Virus needed a redemption arc is because the point of the film isn't to shame people like him but to challenge the existing system and culture. There are and have been plenty of parents and educators like Viru cause most of them are merely products of their time and environment. India and other Asian countries when they were still developing had to be competitive with their universities so that the job market both in the country and abroad can accept their graduates. So many Indians (and Asians, for that matter) see a college degree as a ticket out of poverty. This is the reason why even Farhan's and Raju's parents put a lot of pressure on them. Add the prevalent shame-culture in Asian societies, and you have a lot of young people trying to reach unbelievably high expectations set by their family and community. And this is a cycle. But that's why this movie was so big when it came out here. It challenged many conventions not only in India but also across Asia. Yet it doesn't vilify parents and educators but rather approach them and attempts to show them the ugliness of these pressures and proposes with a better way. So, "3 Idiots" was also quite influential as it also shed light on the issues of mental health among Indian youth which struck a chord to many Asian countries as well.

You both were intuitive and guessed the outcome of so many scenes. Really glad you both had a good time and enjoyed the movie. Highly recommend the following movies which in a way is better than this movie.. the just released "12th Fail" a very very inspirational but gritty true story, "Dangal" ... The same hero Amir Khan in this.. another excellent movie also based on a true story, "Taare Zameen Par"...like stars on earth...this too a really beautiful movie with a really excellent message

u have to see andhadhun the movie will shock u every 20 mins , first 30 mins are just like a normal movie and then the plot keeps on twisting every 20 mins and each time your jaw will drop , believe me u will never see a better movie than that not even in Hollywood
