Nice to see some excellent safety information at the start. Wonderful fishing as well, the Severn gets largely forgotten behind the wye and trent these days but is clearly still a great river!

Excellent video again guys.. tried this method and struggled a lot seeing the float (tried loafer and balsa missile..) in the white water.. any tips? Should i be fishing the crease instead of the main flow?

Thanks mate. Don't be scared to leave plenty of bristle showing as barbel will really rip the float under. You will normally find that the Barcelona will sit just on the edge of the main flow so try to fish there if possible.

Leigh Matthews they are 14ft Shakespeare lxl's which are no longer available but I would recommend the cadence 14ft #3 which are very similar to these Rods.

You don’t need a big float tip. Just keep mending your line and watch your rod tip. You didn’t feed as you we’re playing the fish either. Basics.
