Cracking video Leigh and I do not underestimate the skills used/necessary to get barbel of that size out on that lighter gear. Great effort ❤ really captured the joy of being out stood in the flow surrounded by nature blessed

Wonderful. I used to fish similarly on the BA for mixed bags like this, on the seed. Best method to catch barbel. Much respect shown to that beauty.

An enjoyable video Leigh, thanks ! I agree that trotting for barbel is an exciting way of catching them. That 9 lbs one was a real cracker. I have just read your article in the latest Barbel Fisher magazine and found the story of your recent personal life very moving! Best wishes.

No better way of fishing at this time of year, imho get your bait prep right at home and a very cost effective way of being at one with nature and the river.👏👏

Hemp n tare is an art. March wise it is just an arrow in your bow.

It is a pure win on drains and late rivers. If the fish are there.

Most of the lads I know in England who Hemp n tare are good anglers and always feed little.
