Some of the best action shots I've ever seen. The aerial shots are superb, in one sequence I could see the fish twisting and lunging just before the swan went over it. Great shot of the rod in full action curve. More of the same please Tom

Absolutely brilliant video Tom, with an awesome angler. Reminded me of the excellent fishing I enjoyed when I was younger. More of the same please!!!!

If you use a clutch you can't stop the fish? You can...press your fingers on the spool!

From 13:48 to 13:53 the noise of the hook being ripped out of the barbel's jaw ...Quelle horreur !

What I like is this chap knows how to use tackle to its best. And how he uses a rod to the full. Too many barbel anglers use two rods in the air tactics with heavy carp gear when most fish they catch are of modest size. Well done you,

Wonderfully shot video, stuffed full of excellent information. Could see big barbel flashing everywhere. Although not a Coarse Angler myself it inspired me to up my game with my own videos and have a go for Barbel and Chub. Thoroughly enjoyed that. Were they Cadence rods you were using? If so which ones? Subscribed and inspired!

Great video. To be honest, I’ve fished the Wye for 40 years and never thought to do it this way. Always from the bank. 12lb barbel 7.2lb chub 22lb common carp 3lb grayling 2.1lb roach 3lb perch Think I’ve done okay and really enjoyed every minute.

This one takes me back to the Upper Trent many years ago ! Loved the way you talked safety & set up in the water first. I'ts set me off watching this , Hadrian you really are a star ,now where is that 12' Shakespeare Match International rod I used to use . LOL
@MrMetalchamp6 жыл бұрын
Amazing performance. Strangely enough( unless I missed it ) he does not advertise the rod and reel? That's a shame ( and a rarity) , as here is a rod which you can see handles fish. The film is so well put together, with brilliant photography.

Perfect in every way! A true profesionist! The action of the Barbels that are seen in water(playing) are astonishing! Never saw that live, just with other fish species. Great video!

Brilliant video, will give this ago next week on the wye, I've not been that successful on the speciwagg mainly because I couldn't get my head round the Float dragging the bait behind presentation compared to the stick.. thanks for the master class Ps, did I hear correct your your using 4lb main maxima , and 00.17 hook length, I think I need to balance mine better as fishing to heavy
@davep62865 жыл бұрын
Truly great video by a top angler. Our KDAA stretch of the seven has fished like that, on odd days this summer, first part of autumn. Your wag reel sound so bad, like a old Mitchell 300. ATVB to you and the crew
