Thank you Wanda. I’m happy it works for when I actually put it into place :)

You've got a new subscriber. I'm new to keeping shrimp but not new to tropical fish. I'm sure I'll learn a lot from your channel.

Those clips are awesome, been a long time since Ive done any wiring, but if I ever do I now know what to use. Thanks! Love your ingenuity...

Yeah they’re great! 😁 This is just the tip of the iceberg compared to the garage wiring 😱

That is a very clever system!! Also love the wago clips!!

Thanks 🙏 Yeah, I’ve used them all over the house when doing the electrics. So easy to use!

This is awesome. I love that you invented a custom system for your project. I'm trying to figure out how to rig a float valve to switch on a fountain pump for a hydroponic system. Your Design is out of my league. Even though your wiring tutorial seemed simple enough I don't fully comprehend all the components. If anyone has ideas for a slightly more simple DIY design or an affordable plug-and-play Solution I could buy on Amazon please post it. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Electricity = Scary I'm impressed that you dare to challange this beast!!

It can be yeah, but this is merely a puppy compared to the beast of all the circuits I’ll be doing in the garage 🙈

Thats nice. Just fyi, there are wago clips that longer types, you put the three (l, n, e) on one end, and then connect the other wire to the other end. That makes it's simpler, rather than have 3 clips, you use one. You can Google "wago spl-3 connector"

I just had a look at them. They look great for space save but I think they would just be used for extending a wire. You can’t use them for spurs or a junction.

That was pretty impressive.

Cheers! Should make water changes easier and not need to worry about if the RO has filled up or not
@neilmitchell31633 жыл бұрын
Great idea in theory 👍🏻 If the pump pumps quicker that your mains pressure then you are not going to gain anything or is the mains water going to be in a reservoir as well?
@SimplyShrimps3 жыл бұрын
That’s a very good point. The pump is inline with the mains water. But it will be pumping from a 1/2 inch pipe to 1/4 inch tube. So the resistance would increase as well as going through the RO unit, meaning it needs that extra push.

Ace I see that float system on the coolant tank of a 1.4 million pound state of the art digital printing Press at work. It works! Until the tank level drops we know to top up.
@SimplyShrimps3 жыл бұрын
Good to know it works somewhere else too! I wish I had £1.4M for the shrimp room ha!
@thomasburras3 жыл бұрын
@@SimplyShrimps ha ha! If it drops below and cuts the press out in sometimes needs a shake and a press reboot 🙂
@SimplyShrimps3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I’m cautious of the ball getting stuck now and again. But it’s a small enough system I’m sure I’ll put some fail safes in like an overflow.
@thomasburras3 жыл бұрын
@@SimplyShrimps it only happens when the the tank drops, I think the float system is great! Just a computer issue to clear the fault!

Don't forget an overflow for the reservoir tanks. Just incase lol

If you look at the sketch at the beginning I’ve already planned an overflow 😂 you can never be too careful
