My father in law is an amazing wood worker. He also uses resins and stuff doing his art. Recently made me a guitar out of a jack Daniels barrel and it is amazing... I have to thank you! I’m a professional bespoke carpenter/wood worker and have been dealing with health issues and other matters, these past few months I haven’t worked in my shop. Moments ago I watched your other chess board video and thought “wow, great job!” Sure, I saw a number of things I wished to give you tips about but truly a great job! Not only a great job but you’ve somehow put my desire back in me to get in my shop.... that Sir is an incredible gift you’ve given me. Thank you very much! Oh! Get yourself a nonslip pad to sand on, piece won’t slip around and won’t scratch 1 side while sanding the other. Safe working!

I wondered a bit about that cloudy layer at first, but now I see it was a sort of Diffusion layer! Took a look at another chess board that didn't have that, and the difference is pretty big for the lighting effects. Impressive work!

impecable design. As someone whop grew up around pine forests, i gotta say I love the pinecones around the edges with the dark green around them. fits the vibes of home for me, and the pieces came out so clean looking too. i thought the clear pieces would look lame but whe you pulled em out I realized how clean the glassy look is. nothing has ever made me want to get into wood working more than this. keep up the awesome work, cause im subbing and I wanna see more

Thank you. Yes, the colors are different, because there is pearl and colorless resin in the squares, and green and pearl resin on the outside. When mixed with LED colors, you see this effect.
