Hi, Fran and Rich! Thank you for patiently filming the aerial display, so we can all enjoy nature’s beauty together! It was -9 C yesterday (-17 C with wind chill) here in Ontario when I watched this vlog yesterday. My walk was much shorter than yours! It’s heartening to see signs of your earlier spring with the sprouts of wild garlic! Spring is my favourite season, with all the new growth. I have made your vegetarian fritters twice now, and they’re a hit in our house. So lovely to see your faces, and hear your voices! Stay well!

Just watching these starlings makes me think back to when I was a very little girl, living in a place called Vumba, in the eastern highlands of southern Rhodesia, I was actually scared half to death, by this roaring whooshing sound overheard, called my mu, and she said, yes those are starlings, they have flown a long way. My child's brain was one big question mark....? Where from and where too? Now I live in the northern hemisphere, and we have murmerations in Tønder, haven't made it yet. But.... a couple of weekends ago, I got caught with my daughter and son in law, by a great roaring noise, which filled my heart with joy, my son in law was completely bowled over he had never heard it before. It's scary and elating . Right in my neighborhood. 😍Bless you both for this memory.

WOW!! The gymnastic demonstration was unexpected but quite enthusiastically done!! I really enjoyed the view of the trees above! They were whirling around and then they stopped. I’m glad you are alright and were able to capture the scene. BUT the choreography of the music to match the murmuration of the starlings was tremendous! Watching the birds fly in such synchronization, I wonder if they are just giving praise for the beautiful clouds above them. Such a glorious experience, really enjoyed your choices of musical accompaniment as well. Great job! Please keep it coming. 🤟
