technically it wasnt a defense until the scramble, he jumped for that kimura pass he'd been doing all night, and pato finally hit with a inversion counter. then during the kimura vs inversion scramble it was unfavourable. he tried to disengage but pato came up by keeping very accurate and stable grips (this is extremely hard late match). he still has a chance to explode out when on both hands vs just allowing the sweep (kade got outta the position in gi lol, it was insane) ... but it seems he fell apart after that
