I was impressed with his skills on the mat, I'm even more impress with his demeanor and humbleness.
@dhfonz9 ай бұрын
When I watched his matches it was clear something was off. Not the same super sharp and aggressive Mica we are accustomed to seeing. Later on he said he had food poisoning 2 days before. And then he hurt his foot on that straight ankle lock. That only shows how resilient and mental strong these guys are at the highest level. Any avg joe would have given up before stepping on the mats. I am so glad he was able to win this additional title. He is my favourite BJJ athlete. Very inspiring. Oss

It called a GI. Which originally was invented by kano the founder of judo. Which bjj is based on. Later adopted by other martial arts. Including karate and taekwondo.
@BamBam-wh7nt9 ай бұрын
@@tichtran664 Should mention that the Gi was invented to simulate real life clothing as closely as possible, which was the kimono at the time. No one walks around wearing a kimono anymore so the Gi has lost all its meaning, and no gi is basically the real spirit of the Gi, because it simulates T shirt and shorts, only being tougher to break and no pockets and zippers to cause injuries. The Gi is an antique now, it should be abandoned, and true martial artists should embrace no gi. I have no doubt that if Kano the inventor of the Gi was alive today, he would embrace no gi, because as I have said, no gi is the true modern spirit of the Gi.

Mica is a GOAT on his own. He's different from Gordon in that he does both Gi and NoGi. He's one of the few people with 80%+ submission rate and his record is almost unblemished. Taking into account his age, he may well overtake Gordon.

@tichtran6649 ай бұрын
I don't like the use of steroids by sub grapplers but it now legal in ibbjf . But then again him being muscular he should try his chances at catch wrestling. Since catch wrestlers have a stereotype of being muscular or sometimes using drugs. Especially performance enhancement drugs.
