Dammit, Keith Silverstein can make any script sound good but the Sentai script is just overall better. This dub is such a hard sell.

I definitely prefer the Sentai dub overall, both the actors and the script, but at least in these clips I think funimation does both better.

the downslide with keith is that you cant not hear whoever you heard him voice first, like i cant not hear his characters as zhongli from genshin

A lot of people say the sentai script is better but like, let’s be honest they put way to much into the characters lines and gave them a lot more to say then was necessary. Netflix had a script that was more easier on the ears while the sentai dub just sounds cringe, (also abridged with the acting quality they had). I know that people like the sentai script bc it’s more true to the time period and closer to the Japanese dub subtitles. But honestly Netlifx made it a lot easier to take in and understand and plus I don’t even think it was bad.

I absolutely agree. Sentai is I guess “better” writing but Netflix just sounds so much better.

I think Snenrai fucked up the sound mixing regardless of anything else the quality just seems bad/amatuer

I prefer Jay, but all are good. Another great actor in Keith Silverstein, but the script doesn't do him any favors and his slightly over theatric delivery holds his Floki back.

the audio quality of the sentai version just sounds bad. not to mention the actor they chose for floki sounds so generic
